The Summer's pool grotto was bigger then most single-bedroom apartments and came with it's own steam room as well as a dry sauna. But the main section was the lazy river that ran through it, with there being a middle landing that had a long couch in the darker area.

And that long enchanted couch that could absorb the water from us after we went swimming was also a giant recliner, it turns out, as Summer took the remote from the table next to the couch and turned on the projector that was hidden in the darkness above our heads.

"So, anything you both want to watch?" Summer asked with a grin as she sat next to me with Ruby sitting on my other side.

And Ruby happily exclaimed. "I want to watch a whole season of The Fox Woman!" 

My lips twitched at the show name of some female fox faunus who could speak to the dead to solve cold case murders.

'Dear God, this is going to put me to sleep.' I thought helplessly.

And with a chuckle, Summer clicked the remote that controlled the projector to start up the show without saying anything else.

The show was... Certainly a dramatic show, as there were weird racial highlights about how there was an 'evil' yet trying to be redeemed young master from Mistral, who was in love with the protagonist, but he also OWNED and abused her mother at some point.

But the protagonist, while flirting around with the young master, was actually in a relationship with a detective who was her connection to the Police and Hunter side of the world, as she 'bravely' reported terrible crimes, and the actions of Abominations.

My eyes glazed over by episode six as the slut protagonist was bemoaning her fate and having a mental breakdown as she slept with that young master who got hurt saving her life from an Abomination.

Likewise, her boyfriend was busy being entangled with his ex-wife, who had come back from the dead via a necromancer, Sage's actions.

Ruby at my side was loudly snoring as she was folded somewhat in half as she had burrowed her face into the couch's side pillows so she couldn't hear or see the show anymore as she slept.

But Summer, seeing my dull expression at the side just giggled and gave me a nudge as she said teasingly. "Come on Jake, let us leave Ruby to her dramas brain rot. I need a new cup of wine to wash that filth out of my mind."

And you know what... Seeing the next episode titled 'Going undercover at an Abomination's Cult.' I knew some more bullshit was on it's way so I hurriedly nodded.

I didn't want to see some racist nonsense as they tried to portray a 'poor' octopus faunus as an abomination who would wind up sleeping with said slutty protagonist to enhance the drama pool.

The two of us quietly but firmly left the grotto, and Summer led me directly towards the small kitchen here on the pool level, which was stocked with some lighter drinks.

Lighter drinks, in which Summer happily took a whole damn bottle of wine along with a couple of glasses as she led me towards a row of long couches next to the hot tub.

"So Jake... I see you and Ruby have sealed the deal as it were." Summer said evenly as she swirled the wine in its glass.

I was about to take a drink of my wine. But paused at her words before I nodded and said honestly. "Yes, that is the case, Summer." 

I didn't call her Lady Rose or anything like that as she was sorta my 'mother-in-law' at this point, which would be weird.

But Summer just hummed thoughtfully as those grey eyes finally moved from the wine she was gently airing out.

"I hope that and Ruby have... Thought things through, she is still young. She needs to train, she needs to become used to taking over the responsibilities of this Duke-ranked house. You understand what I mean, don't you, Jake?" 

I coughed slightly as I knew exactly what she was getting at. Despite Ruby being a full-grown adult and all. She still needed time to reach her full potential in other ways as well.

So I said honestly. "We are established in our relationship, but we both know to keep a measured pace. We both know that Ruby's time can't be spent raising a child if we were... Ahem, both lucky and unlucky if we have too much fun."

Summer snorted at how I put it, and for a moment there was silence, so I went to take a drink of the wine in my own glass.

And I damn near choked on the wine as Summer said gently. "But I could raise a child."

My eye's snapped up to Summer as she slowly dragged a fingernail across the rim of her wine glass. Causing a quiet ringing noise that could not silence the 'What the fuck is she thinking?' Screaming inside of my head.

And at my expression, Summer chuckled as she said more firmly. "No Jake, I am not saying you should knock Ruby up, and I will just be the stay-at-home grandma."

I exhaled in relief only to choke as Summer said quietly as she reached forward to grab my wrist. "I meant for you to knock me up, Jake. The Rose family is down to only two members, when before the purge, we had at least five members with Silver Eyes at all times."

There was a heavy silence for a moment before Summer said quietly. "I know this comes as a shock. But your seed will enhance the next generation by the equilvalent of merging at least five Sage-tier light bloodlines. Any children we have, will kill... Millions of Grimm over their lifespans. To say nothing of if they become a Sage themselves." 

Her hand tightened on my own as she said. "I know Jake, this is... A lot to be so blunt about. But Ruby would understand, as this is not only for the good of this House. But also for the good of the world."  

I cleared my throat and said helplessly. "Summer... I literally just pulled Ruby into my harem like three days ago. What the hell is she going to think if I knock up her mom before I even stick my hand down her pants?" 

"I don't want her to think I am like Taiyang." I finished with Summer giving my hand a squeeze in turn.

There was a moment of actual pain in her eyes before Summer smiled. But it was a smile of some weird understanding before she leaned forward. Her gleaming silver eyes met my own before she said quietly.

"Ruby and I already spoke of this while you were unconscious from the awakening ceremony. She has agreed and promised not to hold any hard feelings." 

Then she moved our conjoined hands towards herself. And my hand was filled with her ample breast as she said with finality. "Now... Are you going to be a man and support the noble house you are tied to, Jake, or are you going to leave me here to drink alone?"

Ruby knew I was involved with other women, we had already talked about it. And she was rather frank in that she wasn't ok with Yang for a variety of reasons, but was comfortable and understanding that truly powerful men of this world needed to spread their seed.

But her own mom?

I looked down a bit and Summer's ample breast that filled my hand was already almost bare with how she was still wearing her swimsuit. And you know what? Fuck it.
