The very next morning I was at the Academy where I met Kaori and Kiyome before we entered and headed towards the classroom we were supposed to meet everyone else.

"Why are we even meeting at the classroom? Shoudn't we be meeting at the Villages gates with how we are going to Kumo?" Kiyomi muttered in annoyance.

But it didn't take us long to realize this was in of itself it's own test. With both girls quickly picking up the Genjutsu's that were layered everywhere to the classroom and I was still very much immune to Genjutsu in general.

But besides my team, I didn't recongize any of the other Genin teams we were passing by. Which made sense as it's like Guy's team or Naruko's class would be in this exam either. They were supposed to take the next exam in the next six months I think?

Either way, we passed through the chaff 'filter' without much issue. And as a random Jonin came into the meeting room to hand out some leaflets on what NOT to do in Kumo as well as an info packet on past Chunin Exams hosted there to infere from.

I was considering some things on my own end as I looked between Kaori and Kiyome. As I was considering if I should use that boosting ability belonging to that woman in Solo Leveling to make Kiyome and Kaori stronger.

Though there was the fact that they would become 'addicted' to the feeling of my mana/chakra after being boosted by me. But... As Kaori and Kiyome's breasts both were slighty pressed into me as they leaned into me to take advantage of my nature as a 'Deathbed Companion'

Yeah I don't think actually giving them an addiction to my touch was going to do a damned thing at this point. That ship has already sailed as they say.

My attention was brought back to the random Jonin speaking as he spoke up louder. "You all are the pride of Konoha as you well know! Not only is this Chunin Exam's important for your own future, but this one in particular is very likely the last public one for the next few years if another Great Ninja War breaks out!"

He then took a breath and continued. "At the same time, even the Hokage will be visiting Kumo during the finals to escort the victors back home. And you had best not act a complete fool, as not only will the Hokage be watching along with countless nobles and at least the Raikage. But the very god's themselves will be watching the finals for sure."

There was a heavy silence before he said firmly and finality. "Do your best... Your future can be said to heavily ride on this Chunin Exams. Now, you all are dismissed! Follow the map's provided towards the checkpoint on Lightning Country to then be escorted into Kumokagure." 

'Hmm wasn't there some news about the chunin exams taking place in Suna actually?' I wondered before I mentally shrugged. Typical ninja's distorting intelligance and an unreliable information channel.

And after a good bit of thought as we made our way to the edge of the village. I decided that while we made our way towards Kumo over the next couple days. I would find a chance to give these two Uchiha a boost.

"Have you been around Lightning Country when you were training with Jiraiya, Akari?" Kiyome asked curiously as we began running through the tree's that surrounded Konoha.

I shook my head and explained. "Nope, we mostly stuck to the south and around lesser cities as he taught me how to deal with Youkai and such."

And the Land of Lightning was obviously to the north west of the Land of Fire. So I didn't know the land that well.

"Anyway, make sure to stick close... We are still running through a bit of Grass and Rain Country to get to Kumo. Grass is likely going to be a bad place." I finished with a frown.

As I knew that Konoha was far stronger than Grass was especially with how I stole their own version of the Scroll of Seals which had their treasures... Which I was suprised for a bit that no one came to 'demand' I give it up for the good of the village.

But then again there wasn't any 'evil' third Hokage here. Nor was Danzo even alive remotely in this timeline anyway. So WHO would run up to me, a champion of Amaterasu and demand my goodies in fact? 

'Actually... With how Danzo was nuked from orbit via solar rays. Is Pain and the Akatsuki even an issue actually?' I mused as we kept running.

But those idle thoughts were cut off as Kaori said quietly. "Yeah, Grass is a mess. The samurai and official army has met Grass's own armies under the direction of the Daimyo's. And the gods themselves have been fighting."

She took a breath before continuing. "I think even the clan head and several elder's who have been blessed by Amaterasu got called up to go fight as well." 

Which made sense. Uchiha in this timeless were especially not so much stealthy fighters with how all of them had a seed of divinity blessing them and their Sharingan eye's which made their bodies innately stronger.

"Still... Going through Grass right now is dangerous with how many people died with resentment." I said with a sigh before shaking my head as that leading Jonin called out for us to adjust course.

Jiraiya had warned me. So many times that people who died horribly needed to have their corpses burned to send them to the afterlife so their spirits didn't have an anchor to latch onto.

With how I buried so many people in swamp mud and the army of Fire invading and killing god knows how many... I woudn't be suprised if the priests and Yae Miko in particular were screaming at everyone about new Greater Youkai being born.

I really... Really didn't want to throw hands with a newly born Gashadokuro who could physcially throw hands with a war god.
