The massive pan of shakshuka was cleaned out in record speed. Belle was a demon of gluttony and greed as she stole half of the damned poached eggs in the dish. Wise was a thirsty traitor as he literally broke out a soup ladle to slurp up the tomato bisk soup.

As for Anby and Nicole... They were 'warriors' who smacked and literally stabbed Belle and Wise with their forks and spoons as they greedily delved too deep into their side of the shakshuka platter.

Meanwhile, for Billy. My best 'bro' at this point, I made a cocktail of bleach-soaked batter with a copper wire wrapped around it's charging points he could suck the electrical juice out of. And with the bleach 'flavor,' he said it had a sweet and sour flavor somehow.

Apparently, the green apple-scented soft bleach for their laundry actually made a mean battery cock tail for androids like him, I guess?

This particular food buff was... A lifeforce and healing buff it seemed something that wasn't truly apparent especially to the siblings as it's not like they had any wounds or anything.

Plus both siblings were basically fighting a food coma at that point anyway. Wise and Belle both were just laid out on the sofa bed while helping Nicole set up a double commission for us in the nearby Lemian Hollow.

"A cleansing and retrieval mission in the same apartment tower will work... Billy! You can't drive a truck into this tower or we are screwed! No major damage besides some broken drywall, or I will hang you by a tree and beat you with my suitcase you three!" Nicole said fiercely as she waved a lazy fist at us.

"Nicoooole! You are the one who shoots tiny black holes out of an over-engineered suitcase! You are the one who will be causing the most property damage!" Billy complained.

I shrugged and met Anby's gaze as she said lightly. "Me and Jake use melee... We are not the problem children in this situation."

Which seemed to remind Nicole about something as she tapped her fist into her hand before she said. "Ah! Yeah, we still need to get Jake his W engine as well. Well, Belle, Wise you two stay safe. We need to get going... And NO Belle, you can not buy, lease, rent, or otherwise gain the rights to the Cunning Hares' serpent!"

I just rolled my eyes and said with some humor even as Belle threw me a pout. "She doesn't even have a proper kitchen... Even while living inside of a warehouse, Nicole at least has a double fridge for ingredients."

"Nicole literally stole both of those fridges from the dump though... Wise and Billy helped her install the darned things." Belle said while pretending to kick a rock as she looked down with despair.

Anby then gave Nicole and me a nudge before she said. "Come on... Box Galaxy could close at any point. And we need to get to the Lemian Hollow for the commissions"

Wise waved us off and said with a chuckle. "You guys take your time. It's going to take us a bit to drive over to the Lemian Hollow. To set up our Bangboo, Eous to guide you." 

Belle then 'reluctantly' allowed me to escape her foul clutches and we headed just down Sixth Street to get to the corner store Box Galaxy, which sold the W-Engines I would need.

And as we reached the store and Nicole engaged the oblivious sales clerk, who had no idea they were selling illegal W-Engines for hollow raiders. Anby pointed out the various types of W-Engines to me and their effects.

First of all. The 'W' in W engines had a very real meaning as it stood for both 'Weapon and Wave' in the engine bit. As the W-Engine would enhance the time an agent could spend in the hollow, as it would output strong neutral waves of ether and sound that could repel the effects of raw ether.

While also channeling nearby ether into elemental effects, as well as just completely enhancing the user's body depending on the type of W-Engine it was. Its core material and other variables.

"I... I think I want a W-Engine that can either greatly enhance my speed or give me more ranged options." I said thoughtfully.

Anby then said with a cough. "Ranged options really depend on the type of weapon you are using, Jake. After all, both Nicole and Billy use guns despite having decently powerful custom W-Engines."

For a long moment, then I considered going for a lightning-attributed W-Engine. Because you couldn't go wrong with a speed boost, the ability to stun enemies with lightning, as well as frying enemies with high voltage to begin with.

But I focused on the pure ether-attributed W-Engines and said thoughtfully. "Actually, I think just a pure Ether attribute W-Engine would be for the best. Plus I plan to buy some cheaper W-Engines to see how they work as well."

Because I still had those Star Wars and Cyberpunk Implant tinker skills as well. Who knows what I could figure out with a couple sacrificial W-Engines.

So I snagged myself a few '3' star equilavent W-Engines to take apart and after some searching around. I found an Ether/Void attributed Rapture type W-Engine that would make my ether enhanced attacks violently explode other ether contaminants when I attacked.

Which I figured would be for the best as it was the hardest hitting/most damaging type of W-Engine I could pick up here and now. And also would help especially against big Etherials that Nicole and Billy couldn't shoot apart in just a single burst.

With that, we also picked up some blank soundtracks to load up into the W-Engine. "Can't believe I am going to have to make my own mixtape to get some superpowers... I wonder if I can remake the Minecraft or Dark Souls soundtrack and put it on this?" I muttered to myself in amusement.

Because the thought of some soft Minecraft rain music filling the air as I fought some giant ethereal kaiju was just so funny. On the other hand... There would be a sad poetic feeling in fighting some poor bastard who got turned into an ethereal while Gwyn's pling plong song was going on.

But then I just realized that I already had the Dark Soul's Soul Arrow spell, Black Knight's armor and weapons. As well as Elden Ring's Rites of the Erdtree.

Then, just to mess with me, the Chaos Gatcha went off.
