Chaotic ZZZ Chapter 18 (Patreon)

There wasn't a massive chase scene or us diving into the hollow below us. Hell, it was only barely turning dark at this point so the military hadn't been told about the gang's operations here. So we didn't get helicopter missiles launched at us either.

Nope, with video proof of the tower being cleared and further secured. Along with that safe, Nicole was skipping with joy at the fact that we were going to have a nice double payday.

"Hyup!" Belle made a weird noise as they climbed up into the Cunning Hares sedan and had to climb across my lap to settle into Anby's lap, as Billy had the front passenger-side seat.

"Sooo Manager, after we drop off the commission objective. How about we get some ramen?" Nicole said with a sing song voice.

Belle, who was still in control of Eous, made a coughing noise before saying sharply. "Hey! You got a huge crew, so why don't you just treat Wise and me instead?"

I rolled my eyes and said with a chuckle. "It's just some ramen. It's not like we are heading out for a fancy meal in Lumina Square. I will cover it this time."

But inwardly. I was a bit worried honestly, at this point. We were like... A few days early before the events of the siblings taking out the super flash drive holding Fairy. The powerful and mysterious Ai that was currently still in it's safe tucked under Nicole's huge milkers.

What if the siblings actually completed the commission and they didn't have Fairy to help them be the super Proxies that they would become in the future? Hell, I didn't have any special ability to actually navigate a Hollow, and I knew all too well how dangerous they were.

For a brief moment, I considered telling the Phaethon siblings to just open the safe and investigate before the hacker even got involved. But after an internal sigh, I knew they would never agree without any good reason.

So I could only leave it up to fate at this point. But as we were driving Eous the bangboo began... Twitching before Belle's voice rang out in confusion.

"Hey! The signal is getting ready bad somehow! Uhhh is there like a giant sandstorm going on or something? I-"

Her voice was cut off, and Eous went completely limp, with Anby shaking it slightly before she said dully. "Belle died. Oh noooo."

Billy then said hurriedly. "Hey! Could it be NEPS trying to get them!? Step on it, Nicole we gotta break the managers out of the police car taking them, and flee into the Outer Rim!"

Nicole slapped the steering wheel hard and shouted out. "Shut it Billy! The signal went out, it wasn't cut abruptly, so it wasn't the popo. I bet the two just literally went over their data limits or something."

Billy just grumbled at being shut down. But from the speed of the buildings passing us by. I could tell that Nicole was at least somewhat worried, as she HAD in fact sped up a bit.

All too soon though, we reached Sixth Street, and Nicole pulled us into the parking space behind the siblings' store.

And in less than a minute... Literally within ten seconds of the car coming to something that could vaguely be called stopping, Billy shot out and was wailing as he ran into the store. "Don't die, Managers! Where else would I find my limited edition Starlight Knight DVD'S without you both!"

I then carried the safe as Anby and Nicole both hurried into the store at a 'somewhat' more reasonable speed. And also showing a remarkable sense of poise in not screaming some nonsense for the entire neighborhood to hear.

And as I got into the building, I saw that they left the staff room open for me and as I came into the staff room I could already hear arguing.

'Oh? The hacker has been tracking us the whole damned while huh?' I realized as I recongized the synthetic voice of the hacker who was taunting the siblings and Nicole.

"We completed the contract fair and square! You have no right to just demand what we went out and fought for!" Nicole snapped out.

Seeing the HDD system that allowed the Pheathon Siblings to control their Bangboo's as they remotely entered Hollow's I realized... That it really wasn't 'complicated' to me. As I had the whole of the Star War's tech tree and a 'minor' Tinkertech skill that allowed me to understand innately the tech in front of me.

And this hacker who had locked down the systems of the HDD? 

I held in a dark smile as I waved over Wise as Belle started calling the hacker a bunch of slurs and kept arguing. 

As Wise came over with a clear frown I said quietly. "Wise, if you give me access to your HDD, I can counterhack using the connection between his system your own. I just need you and Belle to keep him busy for at least five minutes to trace his location and disable his system."

There was a pause as Wise gave me a long searching look before he looked over at the HDD and grimaced before saying quietly. "Fine. He hacked our Interknot accounts so it's only a matter of time as he goes through the deleted files on our end to find our actual location and details. So do the best you can." 

I nodded silently before I smiled as a thought crossed my mind. 'What if instead of using the Pheathon account to fuck over the hacker by sending NEPS at him... I just find Vivian online and tell her that someone had attacked Pheathon and stole his account hehe.'

And you know what... The hacker's of this world were far from the Slicer's of the Star Wars universe who regularly tried and even sometimes succeeded in hacking into the mega banking clans.

Not that such slicers who dared attack the galaxy-sized banks would live for long...

When you had countless amounts of money, sending hundreds if not thousands of other slicers and bounty hunters to track down some poor bastard was just routine.

And this guy... This guy wasn't a slicer who could hack into a galactic-tier bank as I hooked up the phone I had spent a good bit of time in my free time enhancing and within three minutes.

Three minutes of Belle and Nicole becoming Karens who were triggering the fuck out of the hacker. I had his location and with a loud crackle of the hacker's mic shorting I called out in amusement. "Hey, dumbass, did you know that using your computer to order DoorDash is a good way to get caught?"
