Once the convoy managed to leave Night City. Thing's became... FAR simpler after we entered the badlands, and the tanks could deal with the random walker and mutated bioweapons.

"And this is the 'Chopper' while it still runs off of an anti-gravity field so that it can run without dulling the frontal teeth. It is fully capable of tearing through smaller car's with little to no loss of momentum due to the refractor field destabilizing the molecular structure of whatever it hits." I happily explained the blueprints to Rebecca.

Rebecca's eyes, on the other hand, were dull, empty as a goldfish's gaze that had a tv playing an endless loop of political speeches.

And after my explanation, Rebecca held up a hand... She took a deep breath and slapped her cheeks with both hands before she grabbed my shoulders and shook me as she yelled.

"Jaaaake! I don't give a shit about the specks! All I care is how many rounds the grenade launchers has, and how fast that shit can go!"

Then Rebecca asked the more pressing question as she asked me with a deathly serious tone. "And more importantly, it has the roar of bear and a hog right? It's not one of those pissy, like all electric bikes, is it?"

I gave Rebecca a dull look before I poked her flat stomach and said. "No, no it will not be a pissy little electric bike. Half of the point of a big bike is the roar if it's engine."

[There is a roaming pack of Supermutants set to cross the convoy. They are deniable assets sent by VaultTech to investigate the Space Elevator.] Commander White's voice rang out.

And I knew she likely saw them through the Bunker's many high-powered surveillance systems. For a moment, after getting my nuts drained by the semen demon that was Rebecca, I considered telling White to just hit them with a couple MAC cannon rounds.

But letting the other mega-corps know that my space station was so dangerous wasn't at all in my best interest. At least until the point in which I could deal with the bastards in question.

I then took a deep breath before saying thoughtfully. "Mark them then, we can deal with them on the way... Also, how many satellites are curently watching our convoy from other corps?"

White's voice turned stern as she said. "Currently, only Arasaka has a dedicated satellite watching your movements. But once you destroy those super mutants. It's highly likely VaultTech will be after you. As the Supermutants do have trackers in their implants."

And all too soon, I watched as the convoy of heavy tanks and such met the much more ragged line of massive green-skinned monsters that had an endless difference in different types of implants that had been shoved into them during or before the FEV enhancement they went through.

'Honestly... I am surprised VaultTech hasn't done any collaborations with Umbrella to see how FEV and Umbrella's own wide range of bioweapon viruses would interact.' I mused to my self as I saw it wasn't just super mutants either.

There was also a large number of FEV-enhanced canines, which were also further enhanced with mechanical augments with several of them even having most of their torso's replaced utterly to house a full auto-turret system on their backs.

'Turning dog's into monsters is just... Fucking wrong.' I thought with a frown as the plasma and laser batteries came alive to start tearing through the super mutants and other FEV abominations.

"Whoohooo! Dealing with those big green fucks are a massive pain in the ass normally hahaha!" Rebecca cheered with mad delight as she was given control of one of the laser turrets to have her own chaotic fun with.

And with those supermutant's cleared out, the rest of the ride went just fine... Besides several moxies slowing down the convoy as they jumped off to loot the heavy weapons the supermutant's were armed with.

If the implants in those green mutants where even remotely compatible with 'normal' humans I bet they would have ripped them out as well.

But a VaultTech 'Sandevistan' that was lodged into the spine of an aged/highly mutated Supermutant literally coudn't be slotted into a human. The fucking 'micro' prong's that would sync into the user's nervous system were brutal, hooked, and jagged things that would lodge themselves into the nervous system.

Not only could you NOT remove those implants without breaking off those microscopic prongs. But even IF you did, the human body simply coudn't withstand the power and strain of the oversized sandy because they were built with a FEV mutant's enhanced build and regeneration in mind.

Once we got back to my sprawling base and workstations. I pulled up Commander White and said bluntly, even to Rebecca's ears.

"Set up a very temporary hab zone for these deposed Mox members. But... Make it very clear that should they enter any of the labs, fabrication plants, or let alone come close to the Space Elevator. They will be shot on sight."

And Rebecca's face twitched as Commander White said dryly. "Personally, I do believe it to be prudent and in everyone's best interest if they were simply driven to that dead town in the Badlands. YoRHa can quickly restart the town's power and drop off some supplies so their basic needs are met."

I slowly nodded before I agreed. "That's an even better idea, NC is a madhouse of violence, war crimes, and horror right now so sending them back is a no-go. Get that done, and have some unit's bring some supplies so they can relax while our agents get the town's power on at the very least."

Rebecca then cleared her throat and said with her typical shameless, pointed voice. "And what the hell about me, Choom? You get your dick sucked, your balls gargled, and after letting the girl play some real big toys, you just gonna kick her off to the side?"

I stared at Rebecca for a full second in consideration of that complete nonsense. And I had the perfect answer. "Rebecca, do you want to get into a flying mech with me and go shoot some FEV monsters into little bloody pieces?"

Rebecca held up a hand and said with a mock-serious tone. "Jake... I literally sucked your dick and swallowed like, ten thousand of your possible babies. Don't make me steal your babies directly to baby trap your gonk ass."

After soothing Rebecca, and calling up Maine and the rest of the squad to meet me in the same meeting room I met with Hanako Arasaka not that long ago.

I sat at the end of the meeting table with one very important question to be had. What the fuck do I do about the Corpo War that decided to explode violently and kill tens of thousands of people at the LEAST as of this moment?

I had... A few options at this point.

The first option was total war with the greedy, ambitious stupidity of humanity that was doing its best to kill off all of humanity before the Batarians could even fucking get here.

After all, Umbrella literally did just dump one of it's viral bombs onto Night City, killing tens of thousands directly with the virus bomb when it's virus's hit people instantly susceptible to it.

As for VaultTech... They fucking LOVED their mininukes as it didn't matter what the hell kind of abomination of a high end Bioweapon that came at them. When a small sun bloomed to life in a combat situation, none of those bioweapons had any response to that kind of threat.

After all... What could a Tyrant do to an Assaultron which cost tens of millions to make as it was basically a walking war machine of the strongest possible 'implants,' and even if it was destroyed? The damned thing would go off due to the mini-nuke inside of it.

As while Militech and Arasaka were dancing around with this Corpo War, they were still getting ready to enter this kick boxing match between VaultTech and Umbrella who lost their shit for some reason.

The con's for throwing my own hat in the ring in this Corpo War was very simple... My forces was entirely just YoRHa currently. I may be an interesting player with the help of the YoRHa Bunker and my Space Elevator.

But I held no major swathes of territory. I didn't have ten thousand lawyer's holding back lawsuits, I didn't have the resources to mass-produce more YoRHa agents to actually make up the difference.

The advantage my forces had against the other major corpo's was one thing. My also hyper-advanced technology that was above their own. And the sheer lethality that was my YoRHa troops.

But those very own Android troops could also be my downfall. As should the Mega Corps find out all my forces were all sentient Ai who were unbound? It was very likely the mega corpos would just shatter the Black Wall to let all the Rogue try their hands at killing my androids.

And I utterly refused to deal with the actual events of Nier Automata. I didn't want my beautiful androids to need to fight an endless horde of machine enemies.

The second option was to bide my time. Wait for the Mega Corps to destroy more of the world in their greed and ambition and weaken themselves while also doing what I could to drag out the war to cause actual damage to their foundations.

For example... Killing Saburo Arasaka and flooding the Arasaka server's with virus's and rogue ai to destroy that horrible Soul Killer program. Which would ruin Saburo Arasaka's ability to 'come back' to life with that mind-overwriting program nonsense.

Such an upheaval would definitely work to destabilize Arasaka, same situation with VaultTech, which was owned by Mr. House, with VaultTech just being the conglomerate of Fallout corporations he had fused together.

And as Maine cleared his throat to begin speaking. To ask, probably, what kind of job I had for him.

My mind froze as I recalled one crucial fact. This year was 2077 currently... And what happened in late October of 2077 in the Fallout Universe? Massive nuclear war that basically broke all of civilization across the world!

Fucking VaultTech! Fucking Umbrella!

My face twitched as I realized I really didn't have a choice. If these two suicidal companies filled with ego-maniacs continued their antics.

The Batarian's woudn't even find a civilization to enslave when they got here!

Welp... start preparing to colonize Mars. You'll need a ship containing a molecular forge and several constructors and excavators. Send them to Mars before anything else so they start working on a starter base. You can send some YoRHa with whatever plant seeds you scrounge later so they can start operating the hydrophonics and making sure living conditions are stable and ready to receive you and whatever people you manage to kidnap and freeze. After your colony is up and running you can start serious production either destroy the corporations or glass Earth and then rebuild.

Kasikan

Never really understood his idea to build an orbital elevator or set up a base on that Earth. It's a shit hole with enemies everywhere and an elevator is just a giant target for everyone. He'd have been better off building a ship and leaving, then building up a ton of miners in the asteroid fields in our solar system. He'd gain a billion times as many resources as he would with doing stuff on Earth. Would avoid dealing with the stupidity of everyone on Earth as well. Which would allow him to build as he pleases without constantly getting attacked. He could terraform Mars or some of the moons of Jupiter as well. Then he could build a few massive cloning facility to repopulate humanity, all the animals, plants, bugs and everything else from Earth. He could either rebuild Earth or just ignore it and keep focused on the planets not filled with Eldritch Horrors. As Fallout has some twisted shit in it that makes that world very much a place you'd want to avoid.

Kasikan

Probably better to just glass the place and their culture, then just recreate humanity with tons of clones and the androids raising the next generation to not be complete shit like cyberpunk was. Keep them away from turning themselves into toasters and the other problems that world had going for it, like Eldritch Horrors and playing with bacteria to try to make themselves immortal.

If I recall correctly (might be just my assumption) the idea was to create an orbital shipyard and start to mine asteroids. Orbital elevator was to improve material transport efficiency plus it's easier to create a ship that is capable of space travel than one that is also capable of landing and taking off a planet. Sadly shit hit the fan faster than he predicted, which in hindsight he should have predicted considering what kinds of corpos are on this earth. Once again, Azazyel how TF did you come up with such an evil idea to put Vault-Tec and Umbrella in Cyberpunk... and then to say 'You know what, let's keep to the lore and look at that 23 Oct 2077'...

Kasikan

If he didn't have the Mass Effect stuff which makes ships basically weightless, then that'd be the case, but with Eezo he'd be able to leave the planet and land on it quite easily. It'd also allow for building in near zero gravity while on a planet.

Time for space exploration and expansion to be the name of the game
