The whole reason I made the Space Elevator was the simple fact that I didn't have access to any stable amount of raw eezo... I had my implant sures, and I using my black tech I could collect trace amounts of it. But I couldn't fuel an entire spaceship with it.

Hence why I made the space elevator to send stuff into low orbit where it would be added to the Bunker and my space operations could be heavily expanded.

Seeing as Vault-Tech and Umbrella were both the worst kind of assholes to try to kill as they were A- Always hiding in vaults or had stupid forms of immortality. And B- Had entire armies of monsters at their behest that were too much trouble.

I had come to the conclusion that my best bet was doing what other people had been doing in just leaving the world. Though I woudn't be going to the Crystal Palace and other corpo-owned space stations.

It was time for me to break open the limits of being on Earth put on me with all it's nosey mega corps and the lack of resources.

"Commander White, how has the resource collection been going from the asteroid belt?" I asked curiously, seriously, after I sent Maine and his crew off for a small job to help escort some resources.

White cleared her throat and said seriously. "After setting up a large-scale mass driver relay to speed up the arrival times of mined resources is currently one and a half days to twenty days... Depending on the orbital distance between the Earth and Mars currently."

I tsked slightly before I nodded and said helplessly. "That's understandable. Still, I need a bio-friendly POD for the Space Elevator ready for me. It's time I headed up to the Bunker and started work on the Flagship of the space ships I will make."

Because if I was going to fight off a Batarian scouting fleet roaming around for slaves. My best bet woudn't at all be fighting on the surface. But meeting them in space with overwhelming firepower!

Plus, once I had a giant space fleet in hand. Those stupid and arrogant mega corps would have no choice but to bend the knee once I started sending MAC rounds into their corporate headquarters.

A small laugh escaped me at the thought before I took a deep breath and got to work on the... Massive pile of schematic's it was going to take to make the Infinity Class Supercarrier.

A five thousand-plus-meter-long supercarrier that could house within its bowels Light Corvettes and massive weapon systems that could give even the Covenant a black eye.

But, I wasn't just going to throw a bunch of mundane missile launcher pod's and call it a day. I was going to put Forerunner-grade energy munitions and Mass Effect-based weapons on its systems specifically to deal with the Batarians.

"Thank fucking god that the androids can work in the vacuum of space and they all are genius engineer's and scientists when the relevant data is downloaded within them." I muttered to myself.

And there was a major reason I was doing such a massive ship as well, besides being the biggest possible stick I could swing at whatever asshole decided to flash their ass at me.

I was... A bit iffy about the Slipstream Drive I was going to make by hand here. Even if I KNEW how to make it, I knew how it worked, and any issues it might have.

I was also very much aware of the possible issues a Slipstream engine could have if anything went wrong. Sure it wasn't nearly as bad as a hyperspace- or warp-based engine would have in yeeting you through a hostile subdimension.

But it could still throw us directly into a black hole, or just create a tiny black hole wholesale from the slipstream generator's graviton projector overloading itself.

'God... I came to this world to get my balls sucked by a pint-sized murder midget. Not to do whole textbooks of math to solve for x in one of a million required equations to find spatial coordinates.' I sighed mentally.

Still, I worked, I worked, and I worked for the next several day's just to make the framework of the giant Super-Carrier before sending the 67 petabyte data file to Commander White.

[Jake... Are you trying to send a zip bomb to me? Why is this file almost three-quarters of a hundred petabytes?] Commander White asked helplessly in a direct voice message to my internal systems.

Leaning back in my chair, I said dryly. "It's mostly the operating system and virtual intelligence that will be used to pilot much of the Super-Carrier rather than locking a couple dozen of our Operator units inside the ship."

Yawning, I continued helplessly. "From the resource list you sent. We should have enough raw materials refined from the autonomous mining drones we already sent off for this ship. The only major issue is the fact that I myself am going to need to make its reactor fuel by hand using the particle colliders here at the factory."

At least for now anyway... Making a whole ass new industrial-scale particle collider to make extremely powerful fuel in space was going to take a couple of weeks due to the rare materials I needed.

Then my workstation's door opened with a hiss and I looked over and paused at seeing the red-haired forms of Devola and Popola standing there with their hands at their waists and giving me a pointed look.

I froze at the pointed look of blame and then it hit me and I said sheepishly. "Ah... I haven't slept in three days, haha."

"Not only did you not sleep, but you also haven't eaten anything solid either, and four energy bars downed with two cups of black coffee don't count either Jake!" Popola said sharply.

Putting up a finger, even with most of my muscles and meaty bits replaced by the glory that was the machine. I could only say helplessly as exhaustion was indeed creeping in. "I was working... Ehe please don't blame me too much you two."

Devola shook her head and strolled over and said firmly with zero possibility of denial. "Commander White agree's it's time for you to take a break while they make sure your POD to get up to the Bunker is safe. She has locked away you out of the system for the next thirty six hours."

Popola then gently but firmly grabbed my shoulder and she said pointedly. "Now! Let's get you washed up and put straight to bed!"

I couldn't help but joke a bit. "Do I at least get a bedtime story?"

The two red-haired androids shook their heads and said firmly. "No! Commander White said no movies, but we could give you sexual relief to help put you to sleep, though."

You know what... I won't give Commander White a spanking for locking me out of my systems if she sends me a red-haired duo to keep me healthy when I overwork myself.

No spanking for White? She'll be so dissapointed.
