Repeatable Events? (Patreon)

As I'm thinking about how to expand this visual novel to add more play style. Initially I'm thinking of making something similar to Milk Island Musume .In that game you have a map and each turn you just select the girl you want to see. As the game goes along it affects how often you see various girls and the girl you end up with at the end.However, I realized that I don't know how everyone feels about the other style "sandbox-style" visual novels. In a game like this you level up stats so you have access to new scenes. In between you have repeatable events you can do over and over.I was thinking I could implement something similar to Paizuri Training where you must increase stats/collect stuff to move to the next stages of the game.
