SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE (Patreon)

Hello everyone, we wanted to provide a quick overview of the upcoming maintenance scheduled for May 14, 2026, and the new quality-of-life updates we are bringing to the site.

+We are refining the browsing experience by adding a spotlight effect when hovering over clips in folders and replacing the selection circle with a sparkle icon that turns green when active. You will also be able to see file sizes and durations simply by hovering over a thumbnail.

+The video player is receiving several functional upgrades as well. It will now feature rounded corners that automatically adapt to the anime's resolution, and you will be able to scroll the background page while the player remains open.

+To make browsing smoother, we are removing the desktop 'X' button; you can simply click the background area to close the player.

+Additionally, we are introducing a right-click menu on the video player, allowing you to download clips, view "stats for nerds," or save a paused frame as a PNG or JPG thumbnail. -We have also improved bulk and folder downloads by adding clear instructions and network error warnings to prevent confusion.

+For mobile users, we are fixing the issue where the selector was cut off by moving it to the middle-left, and we are optimizing clip previews to be more responsive with a side panel for file sizes.

Along with these changes, we are developing a major new feature that will be added to the right-click menu later on. This will be a desktop-only feature initially, and it will be available exclusively to supporters at first to test it out.

Thank you all for the continued support and to all the new supporters who recently joined!
