STREET FIGHTER 🥊🔥 (Patreon)

Hey, wrestling fans! It’s me, your friend Drake! Today, I finally got to watch the Street Fighter movie, and WOW! I absolutely loved it! I had so much fun, and it was incredible to see all these characters I love come to life on the big screen after so many years!!

And you know what? I have a special place in my heart for this video game franchise. Not only was it a huge part of my childhood - I grew up playing Street Fighter II in arcades! - but I’ve also followed its lore through the comics, bought figures, and even own a chess set that… someday, I’ll find a place to display properly. Ffffff… I just don’t have that much space in my office 😂

But I think the reason I cherish this franchise even more is that it was thanks to these video games that I got my first professional publishing opportunities with an actual publisher!! That’s right! The artwork you see here was featured in the following editions:

🥊 Street Fighter Pin-Up Special (2019)

🔥 Street Fighter Swimsuit Special (2023)

Both published by UDON Entertainment!! 🎨✨

I’m incredibly proud to say that I had the opportunity to create official artwork for one of my favorite video game franchises of all time!!! For me, that was a huge personal achievement. It was one of the things that motivated me to think, “Hey, maybe I really am good at this drawing thing… let’s take it even further!!!”

That’s why I want to share a little piece of personal advice with all of you, just like Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, or Blanka: NEVER GIVE UP!!!

We never truly know what we’re capable of achieving until we actually make it happen. And above all, we never know just how far our love for a hobby, a video game, animation, or comics can take us!!

And believe me, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as turning something you love into something you can be proud of. I’m telling you this from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

As my OC Shadowline says: “NO MATTER HOW GREAT THE CHALLENGE… NOTHING IS INVINCIBLE!!!” 🥊🔥
