Here's a sneak peak of the 9th Annual Pi Day video, which at this point I'm pretty confident I will be able to release at midnight Pacific in time for this year's Pi Day, 3/14/19, or what I've been calling "Oops I Skipped A Digit" Day.

I'm cutting it close this year, after traveling all last week and generally being pretty busy what with the current Microsoft contract, but I've had this one planned for years so it wasn't TOO hard to finish the script and produce (not that it's quite done, but I have a draft video and it's real close).

It'll be relatively short and fun, and how could I resist making it when it's a tradition I enjoy celebrating with all y'all? I appreciate you good humans here supporting my work through all the ups and downs and changes, and here's one thing that hasn't changed since the beginning.

If you haven't made Pi Day plans yet, it's not too late! And if you do celebrate, feel free to share pictures in the community tab :D

(And if you're not sure what to make, may I suggest 2 Pi worth of Scutoid Cake?)

P.S. It is now uploaded and after midnight will be available here: https://youtu.be/imfqczglelI

Hey, if you get jammed up and can't make 3.14, you can always post it twice on 6.28.

Also, pi day is getting just a little passe. We need to be celebrating e day (Maybe on Euler's birthday) or i day but only on February 29 in odd-numbered years. Or maybe i^2 day on January first.

The i day suggestions are brilliant!

Wow, you've memorized infinitely many digits of pi!

(assuming it's normal)

vihart

Exactly! (Or so we conjecture; no one's actually proven there's infinite 9s in Pi.)
