"i enjoy it alot" haha, well me too! It's hard not to vibe to this song and when he has that big smile it's hard not to smile back. You caught on right away that there is more to the lyrics. Most people just vibe (I don't blame them, this is such a fun beat). But that's the thing with j-hope, he's able to mix the happy with the dark. The music video is great! I love how in the beginning of the song he's walking "away" from "Hope" "My way" and "Ego" - but he's not going anywhere. He's not leaving any of it behind. He's embracing every part of him. Past, present and future. and running full speed into the maze "Wherever my way". It's all his way. It's part of his journey. Wherever he goes he's himself. And he can "Trust myself". There's so many things in the MV. I've read some posts from people sharing how they see it, there is always more than one way to see these videos. I've seen the MV many times. There was just so much going on and I had to see his smile again haha. I don't go in depth in the music videos of all BTS songs, but some of them I have to watch a couple of times because I'm overwhelmed. The same happend with "Idol". And I just have to say that the rap line always kills it! Persona, Shadow and EGO are 3 amazing songs imo.

It was so nice to see him perform EGO for a crowd. He had only performed 2 of the songs from the entire concert before. So the concert was truly a first in every way. I don't know if you've seen the set list or if you'd rather not know so I won't talk more about the concert until you've seen it.
