Alexander's armor remains almost exactly as described by Plutarch and in the Alexander mosaic. Saka's cavalry is cataphracts.

Alexander had severe diarrhea after drinking dirty water after the Battle of Jaxartes. Poor guy😢

Be that as it may, Battle of Jaxartes is very interesting, and I recommend reading it as Arrian's account is the most detailed (Curtius did not write about diarrhea lol) I wanted to post a link to Perseus, but it was only in Classical Greek😔
