Fic Fun Facts - Just One More edition (Patreon)

I have tweeted this before, but the entire fic of Just One More came into existence because I was watching FRIENDS for the first time!

I had a massive crush on Chandler, and there is this scene where he stops smoking: https://youtu.be/obvtwplBMjA?si=RBKH737aS090ffP7

For some reason (probably cause I was horny), I just had the idea of how hot it would be to make out with someone who’s that pissed, just to see how that irritation would dissipate instantly, kind of turning it into lust?

So, that scene single-handedly made me think of how interesting it would be if Jimin or Jeongguk would act like that in BTS, and how they would handle it. So then the idea of an agitated (sex-deprived) Jeongguk came to be, and he’d be playing a video game (cause that’s hot imo) and Jimin who needs to kiss him better.

Initially Just One More was supposed to be just a oneshot. It would be: agitated jk on the couch, members pushing jimin to give him a kiss, and then around the evening I would have made Jeongguk go to Jimin’s room, wordlessly asking for another kiss. The whole idea was to make them fuck and Jeongguk would be very content and tell him he had been craving that for months.

I only added the whole “jimin already had feelings for Jeongguk” later because I thought it would bring a bit more depth to the oneshot.

However, that idea of jimin already having feelings for Jeongguk made it way harder to end the story on a good note, because how can they have sex and everything will be jolly good when jimin has been craving it for years?

So I thought to myself: okay, I need to make another chapter.

Just One More writing style was largely inspired by moonboymin on ao3. I read heartstrings and became quite obsessed with saying more with less words? I love the bitter sweetness of that story, the (seemingly) unrequited love.

I wrote the first night of them having sex in the hotel room over the span of a month or longer? That is why the sex scene is the longest one I have written up to date, because I would need to get into it each time I picked it back up, which means I had to write parts that would turn me on to be able to actually finish that scene 😭 it took a very long time.

I used previous experience to write Jimin’s feelings. I used to be in love with my best friend when I was 12, and I also had a big crush on an online friend when I was 16, which were both unrequited, which is why some parts are kind of painful for me to reread

Chapter 3 marked the end of Just One More for me. I was really content with how it ended and wanted to leave it at that. I think it was Anoria who read it and said that she wondered how it would go on. That’s how I started writing chapter 4 and so on!

My favourite chapter is chapter 7. Initially it was completely different from what it is now! I still have the old chapter in my drafts (it’s not complete though) I will upload it here after I upload this

The whole Minwoo discourse was actually added later. I never liked jealousy in stories, but I didn’t want JOM to end yet, so I thought it would be fun to play around with that idea.

I think the kiss scene at the end made my heart pound so fast, one of the few times I really loved writing fluff.

I wrote about 3 different confession scenes (chapter 12)

Sadly I did not keep them, because I was so pissed nothing was working.

Initially I wanted it to be said without words, so I wrote about Jeongguk just taking Jimin to his room and then having sex while kind of knowing it just looking into each other’s eyes.

I think then I added this:

“I want to have you.”

“You already have me, you know that right?”

but still it didn’t feel good.

Then I deleted that whole part and wrote something about them watching a romantic movie, while Jeongguk would fall asleep on Jimin’s shoulder and saying

“I love you.”

Like kind of before falling asleep.

But I didn’t think it did them justice!!

Eventually I thought it would be more romantic if Jeongguk was squeezing Jimin’s hand right at the moments that people would say I love you in the movie, and I went with that instead.

There was a sex scene right after the air-hockey scene that I deleted,,,,

HOWEVER, you might have read the big dick roommate fic, the part that Jimin is reading to Jeongguk? That’s from the deleted JOM smut scene :)

I rage wrote chapter 12 (which you probably wouldn’t think because it is the confession scene) because someone on Twitter qrt’d a WIP of SUPG saying “You’re just gonna drop this like you dropped JOM”

Made me so angry that I finished the story just as a fuck your entitled ass

I’m glad I finished it though so, 💁🏻‍♀️
