straight until proven gay (kissing doesn't count) - Chapter 1 - 9.6K (Patreon)

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING
this long awaited story is finally here <3
it is my favourite story and the characters are close to my heart. So, it's very special for me to finally launch this, and share it with all of you.
The story touches on a few subjects that need a trigger warning: homophobia, internalised homophobia, alcoholism, bullying (not between main characters), explicit scenes, toxic characters, domestic violence
I will post the first chapter of SUPG for free, afterwards the 5$ tier will have early access to next chapters.
All that said, I hope you'll come to love the characters even though they might not be the best people.

“You don’t understand, we always get a champagne bottle here for the first win of the year. Can‘t you make an exception?”
It’s always the new staff members who want to be a pain in the ass.
The guy behind the bar glares at him, his bleach blonde hair in stark contrast with his dark brown eyes. He looks furious for some reason, even though it’s not that big of a deal.
Jeongguk sighs, looks behind the bar, can see the bottles of champagne in the fridge. How hard can it be? He slips an extra ₩10000 over the counter.
“Come on, just hand me one of those bottles, the other guy who worked here did it all the time.”
“Even if I could, I wouldn’t want to make an exception for guys like you.”
Jeongguk’s eyebrows rise, taken aback by the hostile energy. The guy glares at him as though he’s done something terrible.
“Look, I don’t know what stick you’ve got up your ass but I’m just asking a question?”
“Oh, a stick up my ass. Is that a joke? You’re all the same aren’t you?”
The guy raises his voice in anger, and
Jeongguk is completely lost.
“What do you mean?”
The guy laughs humourlessly, then shakes his head.
“My god. You think you can do and say whatever you want, don’t you? So fucking pathetic. Get the fuck out of here. And take those homophobic rats with you.”
Jeongguk is dumbstruck as the guy turns his back towards him. He wants to say something, wants to know what the fuck this dude got against him, but he decides not to. He just leaves with a frown on his face, coming back to his team empty-handed.
“Sorry guys.”
“It’s fine.”
“I told you the new guy is a fucking asshole.”
“Let’s just go to my place, I think I have some beers left.”
-------
“Jeongguk you’ve barely drank anything. It’s our first win, you should celebrate.”
Hoseok says, handing him a beer. He takes it, but just holds it as he stares in front of him. His encounter with the guy behind the bar doesn’t sit right with him. He’s never had anyone look at him with such burning anger, and he can’t make sense of it.
“It’s the guy at the bar.”
He looks at his other teammates in the back.
“He called our team homophobic rats.”
Hoseok frowns.
“Maybe he’s got us confused with the soccer team.”
The soccer team sucks.
“I don’t know. Could be.”
He shrugs, looks at the beer in his hand.
Hoseok pats his shoulder then.
“Don’t worry about it, it’s not your fault. He probably just had a bad day. Plus, the campus is huge, you won’t see him around much.”
Hoseok smiles at him as he holds out his beer. Jeongguk clinks their bottles together, decides to let it go.
“To our first win.”
“Cheers.”
-------
Not seeing the guy around doesn’t go as planned.
He ends up accidentally bumping into him on the dance floor. Can’t really help it, Jae is a little drunk, trying to whisper something in his ear but falling all over him. When he leans back to catch her, he steps on the guy’s toes.
It just has to be him, the bleach blonde hair is a complete giveaway. No one bleaches their hair. In a sea of black and very dark brown hair tones, he’s like a spotlight. It irks Jeongguk. The way he stands out, it annoys him.
He’s about to say sorry, but he earns another one of those dark looks, the up-and-down of disgust. This guy has some sort of personal vendetta against him. Spotted him and made him his arch-nemesis for no reason.
It’s fine, just be nice.
He swallows his pride.
“Sorry, it was an accident-“
“Oh save it.”
The guy sneers, turning his back to him. Again.
Jeongguk frowns, clenches his jaw tightly. This guy is absolutely ridiculous. Incredibly rude and judgemental.
“What is your problem?!”
He shouts over the music. He can’t let it go, it bothers him to be hated without any reason. The guy doesn’t hear him, or pretends he doesn’t, and Jeongguk is about to bump into him on purpose-
“Jeongguk, don’t start a fight. Come on, let’s get more drinks.”
Jae pulls on his arm, drags him towards the bar. He contemplates if he should say anything, usually he’d hold his tongue but right now he’s drunk enough to just let it slip.
“That blonde guy.”
He starts, eyeing over the dance floor, finds him within a second. He sticks out like a sore thumb.
“He hates me.”
“Why?”
Jae asks, ordering a round of shots.
“I don’t know, that’s why it’s fucking annoying.”
“Well..”
Jae hands him a shot glass, kisses his cheek.
“His loss.”
Jeongguk sighs, but nods. He downs his glass, and slams it back on the bar. Jae raises her eyebrow, playful glint in her eyes as she leans closer.
“You can use all of that anger on me if you want.”
-------
Sex for him, is all about that short moment of happiness.
It’s a chore most of the time, he just wants to come. Jae doesn’t mind it. They’ve been together for a year now, she always likes it when he uses her as a ragdoll and fucks her until she can’t stand.
He’s got enough stamina for it, so it’s fine. But afterwards, he’s always hit with a feeling of guilt, doesn’t know why.
He doesn’t dwell on it.
“Jeonggukie..”
“Mm?”
He’s already putting his clothes back on.
“Why don’t you want to move in with me?”
This again.
“Jae..”
“It’s not fair.”
He steps into his shoes, doesn’t bother to lace them up. Needs to get away before she starts another argument about this.
“I have to get back. Shit it’s 5 already.”
He says, wiping the sweat off his forehead.
Jae sighs, pulls the covers up high and ignores him.
Jeongguk feels familiar guilt in his chest.
“Jae.. you know I can’t.”
“Taehyung can afford his own place, you don’t have to look after him anymore.”
Yeah, he is not staying for this same argument again.
“We’ve talked about this. I have to go.”
“Fine.”
-------
“She’s right though, I could afford this place on my own.”
Taehyung says, shrugging as he looks around.
“Actually I would love to have you out, your feet smell like shit when you come back from training.”
Jeongguk sighs, runs his hand through his hair as he cleans the dishes.
Taehyung wouldn’t survive a day without him. He doesn’t have the heart to tell him that though. He’s cooked every meal, helped him find a job, helped him manage his finances, cleans most of his stuff.
“It’s not about affording this place. Your grandma told me to take good care of you.”
“Yeah..”
Taehyung says, a bit distracted.
“And though I do love Jae, lately we’ve been fighting more. I don’t want to move in right now.”
“Mmh.”
Jeongguk eyes Taehyung, sees him smiling at his phone, not paying attention to him at all. He’s been doing that a lot lately. Jeongguk almost doesn’t want to ask.
“Who are you texting?”
Taehyung looks up, a little flustered.
“Just a friend.”
Fuck. That’s never good.
“Don’t tell me you’ve already moved on to some other guy.”
It’s been a week.
“He’s just a friend.”
“Of course he is. Is he gay?”
Taehyung doesn’t answer, just purses his lips.
Jeongguk groans.
-------
“This is my boyfriend, Park Jimin.”
Taehyung beams, so eager for Jeongguk to meet the guy he’s been talking about for a month now. Jeongguk clenches his jaw as he’s blinded by bleach blonde hair.
Like a sore thumb. It has to be him. It just has to be this guy.
He reluctantly reaches out his hand. Jimin shakes it, barely.
Great.
“Jimin, this is my roommate and best friend Jeon Jeongguk.”
“Nice to meet you.”
“Yeah, you too.”
There’s nothing nice about it. Jimin’s monolid, dark brown eyes simmer with that same hatred, and Jeongguk feels the urge to roll his eyes. Whatever Jimin thinks about him is wrong, but he has absolutely no desire to prove that to him.
It’s Jimin who has a problem with him, not the other way around.
-------
“What do you think about him?”
Taehyung asks after Jimin’s left.
Judgemental asshole is the first thing that comes to mind.
“He’s great Tae.”
“Thanks. I really hope you’ll like him.”
Jeongguk turns his head away from his game, looks at Taehyung.
“Why does it matter?”
“Well, you hated most of them, and your judgement was always right.”
He looks from one eye to the other. Taehyung has always been so painfully naive. For some reason he always falls for toxic guys, swears they’re different every time, but they’re not.
Jeongguk has been trying to set him up with Hoseok for a year now, but both of them always have boyfriends or girlfriends coming and going before he can get them to go on a date.
“Well.. your type in men is shit.”
“But Jimin is different.”
Taehyung says, fully convinced.
Jeongguk holds back a humourless snort.
“You said that about the last one too.”
“Well he was a different type of asshole, so I guess I was right.”
Taehyung grins.
Jeongguk just turns his head back to his game.
“So do you like Jimin? Just as a first impression?”
Taehyung asks again.
Jeongguk pokes his tongue into his cheek, then nods stiffly.
“Oh yeah, Jimin made a great first impression.”
He hopes it doesn’t sound too sarcastic.
“Good. Cause I think he will stick around.”
“Great.”
-------
Jeongguk never really had a problem with Taehyung’s boyfriends coming over. In fact, he actually got along well with one or two of them. Probably just one. Maybe. And he is willing to start from scratch for Taehyung, forget his previous encounters and just be nice, but Park Jimin evidently isn’t.
They’ve been pretending to like each other for Taehyung’s sake, but god. It gets on his nerves.
They try to never be alone around each other, but sometimes they aren’t so lucky. Like this time, where Jimin is standing in front of him in the door opening, frowning when he meets Jeongguk’s eyes.
“Tae’s not back yet.”
Jeongguk says, already turning around and walking towards the living room to get back to his game. He pays Jimin no mind because ignoring him has been the best course of action the past week.
Jimin, for some reason, has to open his mouth.
“You could at least wait for me to step inside.”
Jeongguk rolls his eyes. Sees Jimin walk into the living room in his peripheral but he doesn’t look up.
“Sorry, I didn’t think you’d want to be in such close proximity of me.”
Might step on his toes and all.
“I’m not the one who has a problem with that.”
It’s said in such an accusing way. Jeongguk whips his head towards him, feels anger build up in his body.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“You know damn well.”
Jimin says, crossing his arms as he leans against the wall.
“No, I don’t. What’s your problem?”
He puts his controller aside and stands up to be on the same eye-level. He notices he’s slightly taller than Jimin, makes him feel superior.
“My problem is that you’re homophobic.”
Jimin says flatly.
God. He has to withhold himself from facepalming. Instead he just walks closer, comes to a stop in front of Jimin and tries to keep eye contact. Wants to get through that thick skull of his.
“Listen, I don’t know who you’re confusing me with, but I’m not.”
“I’m not confusing you with anyone. You and your teammates make my life a living hell everyday.”
“What do you mean? I have never even spoken to you before.”
“You know Jihoon? Sangwoo? Sungho?”
Jimin asks, anger clear in his voice. Jeongguk frowns.
“Of course. They’re my teammates-“
“And they’re homophobic. Don’t pretend you don’t know, you’re in on their jokes, you play along.”
“What are you talking about?”
Jimin laughs, clearly offended.
“You can’t seriously be so stupid. Sangwoo came in to ask me for champagne as if he doesn’t call me a fucking faggot every chance he gets. I tell him to fuck off and then you come in afterwards asking if I have a stick up my ass. Did you get a good laugh out of that?”
Jeongguk blinks once, twice. He finally understands why Jimin was so hostile towards him back at the bar. Of course it’s a stupid misunderstanding.
“I didn’t know. My comment had nothing to do with that.”
“Of course not. It was just a joke wasn’t it? Just like Sungho saying I have 'fat dicksucking lips' is just a compliment.”
Jeongguk’s eyes sink down to Jimin’s lips involuntarily. He doesn’t want to think that Sungho is right, but it does cross his mind. Jimin has fat, dicksucking lips.
He looks back up, shakes the thought.
“Listen. I don’t care whether you believe me or not. I’m not a homophobe. I honestly don’t care who you like and what you do with your life. Just because those guys are dicks doesn’t mean I am one.”
“Those guys shouldn’t be on your team. Even if you aren’t a dick, it doesn’t change the fact that they’re your teammates and you let them get away with it.”
Jimin presses his fingers against his chest as he stresses the words, makes Jeongguk take a step back.
Was he standing that close?
“I didn’t know they were homophobic until you told me. If I did then I sure as hell wouldn’t have wanted to be on the same team.”
“Well you are.”
Jeongguk wants to say something but the door opens, and Taehyung comes in with a big smile and two bags full of groceries so he just sucks it up and walks towards the door to help him.
Jimin and he don’t talk after that.
-------
“Wow, you fucked me like an animal.”
Jae laughs, caressing her hand through his hair.
Jeongguk sighs, exhausted and sweaty, hates how post-nut clarity hits him so soon. Lately he can’t fall into his usual slumber, he just feels annoyed.
“Something wrong?”
“Mm.”
He shrugs, glaring at the ceiling. For some reason bleach blonde hair flashes through his mind and he grinds his teeth.
“Just Taehyung’s new boyfriend.”
“That bad?”
“The worst. I hate him.”
“Lovely thoughts after sex.”
He turns to look at Jae, caresses his hand through her hair as well. Her big brown eyes close in bliss, small smile on her lips. His mind flashes with another set of lips.
He blinks and it’s gone.
“You always hate Taehyung’s boyfriends.”
Jae says, leaning into his touch.
“Well, they always suck.”
they really suck.
“Are you in love with Tae?”
Jae asks casually, blinking her eyes open to look at him. Jeongguk’s shoulders stiffen, he stops caressing through her hair.
“Why would you ask that? I just fucked you.”
Jae chuckles.
“I’m just kidding. You’re so sensitive sometimes.”
He sighs, presses a kiss on her forehead.
“I’m just pissed that we have to recruit new volleyball members.”
“Why would you need to do that?”
“Cause a few of them are homophobic. If Hoseok finds out he’ll be livid.”
He doesn’t want to see Hoseok livid, it’s terrifying.
“But they’re good players. You want to win this season.”
He looks at Jae, frowns. It isn’t like her to say that, she knows how much he cares about Hoseok and Taehyung.
“I’m not gonna play with guys like that.”
“Then you talk to them? They can change, you can’t just kick them out.”
“Talk and say what? Stop being homophobic or I won’t let you play? You think it will magically make them better people?”
“Well, they won’t be better people if you just kick them out.”
He rolls his eyes, gets up from the bed. It’s about time he left.
“It’s not my responsibility to make them better people. Also they won’t take me seriously.”
He pulls his shirt on backwards, the tag tickles his neck, but he doesn’t have time to correct it. Jae seems to want to go on about the volleyball thing, but then frowns as she catches him dressing up.
“Are you leaving already?”
“Tae is home alone.”
“So?”
Not this again.
“So, I want to be there. Cook for him. He can barely make something without burning the house down.”
Jae clicks her tongue, shakes her head like she doesn’t get it.
“He has a boyfriend now, you don’t need to do that. Stay with me for a while.”
Annoyance fills Jeongguk’s system as he thinks of Park Jimin. he clenches his jaw, finds his shoes that he carelessly kicked out and steps into them.
“I’m still going.”
Jae groans, throws the pillow at him.
“You’re literally only here to fuck me lately. Is that all I am to you?”
“Of course not. You know I love you.”
How many times has he said that the past months? It feels like a standard sentence, sounds robotic even to his own ears. Programmed to say it whenever a fight starts.
“It doesn’t feel like it. You come here to fuck me then leave me to be with Taehyung. Are you sure you’re not in love with him?”
Oh, she loves doing that lately. Getting under his skin. He can see the viciousness in her eyes. She wants a fight.
“I can’t handle this shit right now, I’m leaving. Sort yourself out.”
Jae throws a bottle of lube against his back when he walks out the door and he feels like he deserves it.
-------
“You’ve been a bit distracted today. Something going on?”
Hoseok asks in the time-out. Jeongguk wipes the sweat off his forehead with a sigh, pulls his kneepads in place.
“Do you know Park Jimin?”
Something flashes in Hoseok’s eyes, something he doesn’t quite get. He lets it slip.
“Heard of him.”
Hoseok says, drinking from his water bottle.
“He’s the guy from the bar that wouldn’t give us the champagne.”
“Oh that was him?”
“Yeah. He.. he’s dating Taehyung.”
He sighs, looking at the clock. Only 3 more minutes.
“So? Are you sad because you can’t make me go on a date with Taehyung again?”
Hoseok grins. Jeongguk would have returned the grin if he didn’t feel so bad. Of all sports teams he would have sworn his team wasn’t like that. Hoseok is their team captain, openly bisexual, and none of the the guys Jimin called out have ever had a problem with him.
“Hey, what’s up? Is it really so bad?”
Hoseok grabs onto his shoulder, serious look in his eyes.
“Are you.. are you in love with Taehyung?”
Jeongguk blinks at the genuine expression on Hoseok’s face. It’s a joke, right? But, Hoseok is not laughing, and he’s a terrible liar.
“No? I’m not in love with Taehyung? I’m straight?”
Why is this the second time he gets asked this question?
“Just checking. You can always find out later.”
Hoseok pats him on the head playfully, like it was a joke. Jeongguk frowns, knows that it wasn’t a joke, but he let’s it go.
“I’m feeling bad because Jimin told me something. I’ll tell you after the game.”
“Good. Don’t let it distract you.”
Strangely enough the only thing that distracts him is how he’s been accused of being in love with Taehyung, again.
-------
“So they’re homophobic. That’s.. terrific.”Hoseok sighs, rubbing over his forehead in distress. “We’ll have to get them replaced.”
“Yeah.”
Jeongguk nods. He’s a little angry at himself for not noticing earlier. He got along well with them, they’ve always treated him and Hoseok with respect. He thought they were good guys, but evidently they’re not.
But fuck, it’s gonna suck to find new members. The year just started, the games just began. They were off to a great start with their first win.
“I’m disappointed, really.”
Jeongguk says, looking down at the floor.
“We couldn’t have known.”
“Couldn’t we?”
Jeongguk asks.
“It’s not like we hang out with them. We play volley together, and celebrate, but I couldn’t tell you much about them outside of sports.”
Hoseok says, shrugging.
Jeongguk clicks his tongue. It makes him feel bad. That his judgement was so misplaced, that he trusted guys who could be such dicks. Sungho was really quite fun to be around.
“We have to start recruiting new members tomorrow. We’ll just have to be better judges.”
Hoseok says.
“How? We can’t just ask someone if they’re a homophobe.”
“Why not? I think it would be funny.”
“Hoseok-“
“We’ll do it subtly. You’re a great setter, but what do you think about anal sex?”
“Right. That’s subtle.”
He pinches the bridge of his nose, hears Hoseok’s contagious laugh.
“By the way..”
Jeongguk starts, nerves surging through him.
“Why did you ask that? About Tae.”
He doesn’t know why he feels nervous about it, maybe because it’s awkward to think about. He’s never felt anything for Taehyung like that, knows he doesn’t feel that way for men in general, but the question still makes him nervous.
Hoseok looks at him like he’s considering to say what he thinks, his knee bouncing a little nervously up and down.
“I’ve told you about my gaydar, right?”
Jeongguk snorts.
“Is that even a real thing?”
“Listen, it is the only thing I trust.”
Hoseok says.
Jeongguk rolls his eyes, but just waits for what he has to say.
“I can tell someone is gay before they come out. I think I can sometimes even smell it on them-“
“Please stop-“
“And when I first met you, all the alarms were going off.” Hoseok says, tilting his head. “You smell gay.”
Jeongguk pokes his tongue in his cheek, wonders if he should believe it. Hoseok notices his disbelief, leans a bit more forward on his chair.
“The way you talked about Taehyung made me think he was your boyfriend, until I met Jae.”
Jeongguk looks down, hears Jae’s voice echo in his mind, asking him if he’s in love with Taehyung. And now even his bisexual team captain is doubting his sexuality.
“But I 100% take your word for it that you’re straight. I mean, you know yourself best.”
Hoseok says then, trying to reassure him. And it’s not like it would matter anyway, if he liked men.
“I’ve never felt attracted to a man, so I have to disappoint you.”
His mind flashes with a set of full lips. A knot forms in his stomach. Why did that come to mind?
“Yeah, it is disappointing to be honest. You’re fucking hot.” Hoseok sighs. “Not my type though, way too stubborn.”
“I think you like that about me.”
“You wish. Now let’s find some new members.”
-------
Jimin is over again. Which means the living room is occupied and Jeongguk can’t game. Which means this is gonna be a terribly boring night.
“Jeonggukie, come join us. We’re watching a really bad show.”
Taehyung calls from the couch, waving him over. He really would rather sit in his room and stare at the wall than share a couch with Jimin, but Taehyung’s brown eyes light up when he steps in the room and he can’t say no.
He drops his stuff, looks sadly at the only empty spot next to Jimin, and sits down.
They’re disgustingly clingy all the time. He used to not mind it much with Taehyung’s other boyfriends, but the way Jimin’s hand is always on Taehyung’s thigh annoys him.
Oh god. Would that be considered as being in love with Taehyung?
He quickly folds his arms, focusses solely on the tv.
This is ridiculous. Only because Hoseok said his gaydar - which isn’t even a real thing - went off, he now suddenly has the urge to proof he’s straight.
Who even cares? Why does he care?
He bites on the inside of his cheek as he watches the show, which is indeed bad, but he has a good use for it. The protagonist, a young business man with slick back black hair and a stern face pops on the screen. Objectively? Attractive. Does it do anything for him? Absolutely not.
One of the side characters, also a man, pops into frame. Objectively? Attractive. But it doesn’t do anything for him. Not a sliver of attraction.
He takes a deep breath, content sigh escaping him as he finds that he’s not even remotely attracted to the men on screen.
Confident in his judgement he looks at a woman on screen. Objectively? Attractive. And yeah, that’s definitely doing something for him.
After his short examination he finds that he must be straight.
So when he looks over at Jimin and Taehyung, and feels familiar annoyance fill his system, he forces himself to examine them the same way.
When he looks at Taehyung, examines his wavy black hair, picture perfect face, pretty lower lashes, it does nothing for him. Just to push himself to extremes he imagines what it would be like to kiss him, but also that doesn’t do anything. It wouldn’t be terrible, but he’d only do it because of a dare or something.
Yeah, there’s no way he’s in love with him.
His eyes slowly make their way over to Jimin’s bleach blonde hair. The roots have turned a little dark, but it’s still blinding, still way too out there for his liking. His sharp eyebrows are dark in contrast, just like his droopy eyes.
Now that he’s staring unapologetically, for the first time, he notices how confusing Jimin’s features are. Narrow eyes like a cat, but round around the edges. Soft looking cheeks, almost like a cherub, but a strong jawline. A muscular neck, but a small nose, and a set of soft full lips.
“What?”
Jimin snaps him out of his thoughts, caught him staring.
He looks up, feels a knot in his stomach as those dark eyes stare him down.
“Nothing.”
He turns his head back to the TV, grinds his teeth together.
Park Jimin. Objectively? Extremely attractive. But does he do anything for him?
Yes
Yes
Absolutely not.
-------
Making up with Jae is fairly easy.
“Fuck- Jeongguk.”
He’s rougher than usual. Pushing her face down into the mattress as he takes her from behind.
It’s just that, he’s got a bit of a problem. His cock doesn’t stay completely erect. So he takes her a bit harder than normal, doesn’t want her to notice, wants to come fast and be done with it.
At some point his cock slips out from going a bit too fast and when he tries to put it back in, she flinches.
“A-ah- Jeongguk. Wrong one.”
He looks down, sees his cock press against her rim.
Oh.
Blood rushes to his cock, and it’s fully hard in seconds.
Fuck.
He shakes his head, pushes his cock back inside of her and turns off his mind when he fucks her. Though when he comes, he’s looking at her rim.
-------
Is it gay to like assholes?
The reply is mixed. It ranges from "extremely gay" to “I eat my girl’s ass for breakfast”
It must be the most embarrassing thing he’s ever searched online but he needs confirmation.
Liking assholes is normal.
It’s probably because they’ve never done anal that it made him so curious. The taboo of it, that’s what made him so hard.
Yeah.
He deletes his search history.
-------
Recruiting goes so bad. It’s like guys don’t care about volleyball at all. He knows it’s not the most popular sport, like baseball, basketball or soccer, but it’s a fun sport.
They’re not interested.
They have only two weeks left to get some remotely good players.
“This sucks.”
He bends over their little table, bangs his head against it and groans.
“It’s because you’re too tense, you don’t shine with positive energy.”
Hoseok says, stacking some of their little information books.
“I’m not filled with positive energy. I just want to play a good season, but we’re never gonna make it like this.”
“We still have two weeks. It’s gonna be fine.”
They sit there a little longer, get laughed at by Sangwoo from a distance. After the guys got kicked out of the team they’ve just been finding any way to make them feel bad.
“How’s Jae?”
Hoseok asks out of sheer boredom of having to sit here. He never asks about her, couldn’t care less about her.
“Hm? Oh.. good.”
That was the least convincing good he’s ever said.
“Good?”
Jeongguk shrugs.
“Well, she wants me to move in, but we’ve been fighting lately.”
“About what?”
He leans back on his chair, flips through one of their information books. It’s a bit awkward to talk about, especially with Hoseok.
“Tae.”
“Ah.. she’s jealous you two live together?”
“Yeah. She thinks I’m in love with him.”
“Aren’t you?”
“Hoseok.”
Hoseok snickers.
“Stop taking me seriously Jeonggukie.”
Jeongguk rubs his forehead, throws the book back on the table.
“How’s Yoongi?”
He asks to divert the attention.
“Yoongi?”
“Yeah, your boyfriend?”
Hoseok frowns, but then has a revelation.
“Oh him! He isn’t my boyfriend. We fuck sometimes.”
Jeongguk blinks.
“You’re only fucking him, no strings attached?”
“Yeah, why? You interested?”
Hoseok grins.
Jeongguk elbows him.
“Not interested. Didn’t think you’d be into friends with benefits.”
“I didn’t want to at first but he’s really good with his tongue-“
“Good for you.”
“Talking about me?”
Jeongguk looks up, bleach blonde hair the first thing that catches his eye. His eyebrow twitches. He gives Jimin a quick disapproving glance up and down. Skinny jeans and Chelsea boots. Always those fucking Chelsea boots.
Jimin pays him no mind, leans over the table, beaming at Hoseok. His eyes almost disappear all the way when he smiles, and Jeongguk finds out he’s never seen that before. All he gets are glares and death stares.
How do they even know each other anyway?
“No, you have better assets.”
Hoseok says, throwing an information book at him.
Jimin snorts, catches it and reads it.
“Oh, you’re recruiting? Why?”
“Had to throw a few guys out. Found out they were homophobes.”
Hoseok shrugs.
Jimin’s gaze now fixates on Jeongguk instead, one of his eyebrows raising a tad. It’s embarrassing. He doesn’t want to admit that he listened to Jimin, doesn’t want him to notice because then he’d-
“How admirable of you.”
Jimin says, mocking tone making Jeongguk’s hairs stand up straight.
This fucking-
Hoseok laughs before Jeongguk can snap, for some reason finding Jimin’s snide remark funny. They seem to know each other well.
It annoys him.
“Do you know any guys interested in volley?”
Hoseok asks instead, not paying mind to Jeongguk practically fuming beside him.
Jimin eyes over the information book, corner of his mouth twitching as if he finds it funny somehow.
“Yeah, they’re all gay though. Don’t know if Jeongguk can handle that.”
“Listen here you fucking-“
“Jeonggukie, don’t be so sensitive,” Hoseok chuckles as he wraps an arm around his neck and yanks him close, then turns back to Jimin. “He’ll be fine. He’s around me all the time anyway.”
Jeongguk pinches the inside of Hoseok’s leg, makes him yelp. Then he looks at Jimin, swallows his anger. Maybe not all of it.
“Look, I don’t care about that. Are they any good or not?”
Jimin huffs out a breath, that arrogance still about him that Jeongguk can’t stand. Honestly, what does Taehyung see in this guy?
“Oh probably not, but you don’t have much animo, I see?”
Jimin picks up the empty list from the desk and shows it to him as if he doesn’t know that no one signed up. He grinds his teeth, sees a hint of a smirk appear on Jimin’s full lips. So haughty, so fucking annoying.
“I might call them, if you ask nicely.”
“Oh fuck off.”
“Your loss.”
Jimin dares to wink at him right after and Jeongguk is about to throw the table in his face.
“Well, this has been nice. See you around.”
Jeongguk bites hard on his tongue as Jimin spins around to leave. His eyes are immediately drawn to those skinny jeans that hug around his thighs. It’s not like he can help it, they’re ridiculously tight. And Jimin is 80% legs anyway. Jeongguk can’t be blamed for looking.
“You two get along well I see.”
Hoseok says, leaning back in his chair.
Jeongguk isn’t amused, glares at Jimin’s back long enough and hopes the blonde can feel it burn.
“I hate him.”
“Yeah? What do you think about his legs?”
Jeongguk snaps his head back, sees Hoseok looking at him with a shit-eating grin. Blood rushes up the back of his neck, caught red-handed.
“Nothing. They’re long. And by the way-“
“You were staring long-“
“You told me you’ve ‘heard of him’ but it seemed more like you’ve tasted him.”
“Ooh, bit fruity..”
“Hoseok.”
“Alright.”
Hoseok holds his hands up in defeat, still grinning as he lowers them.
“We’re just friends. We’re in the same scene though so I got to know him well.”
“Same scene.”
Jeongguk shakes his head at the word.
“The gay scene. You should come along to Sway once, it’s really good fun. Taehyung is usually there too.”
“Sway, the underground gay club in the city. You want me to go there.”
“Maybe you’ll loosen up a bit! Besides, you’re a total catch. A tall, handsome jock who’s good at everything. Oh, it would be so fun.”
“I’m straight.”
“Straights are allowed there. Can I pick your outfit when we go though? Cause you look boring. Full offence.”
Jeongguk groans, rests his forehead back on the table and ignores the conversation altogether.
“I’ll have to ask Jimin about the volleybal players. Can’t wait.”
Hoseok laughs at him, slaps his hand on his back.
“He’s not so bad.”
Oh he is.
“I just don’t want to deal with him.”
“Are you a little jealous he’s taking up all your precious time with Taehyung?”
“This conversation is over.”
“Very fight club of you to say that.”
-------
He’s dreading it already. When he comes home he’s delighted to see Jimin is not there, just Taehyung on the couch.
“Hey, got home early.”
He announces.
“O-oh.”
Taehyung doesn’t move, doesn’t look over his shoulder, just sits quite tensely with his back turned towards him. It spikes his concern, but when he approaches, Jimin suddenly appears from between Taehyung’s legs.
His bleach blonde hair is disheveled, lips spit slick, cheeks red, eyes a little teary.
Oh.
A knot forms in his stomach as he understands what he’s walked into.
“Sorry, didn’t know you were coming home so early.”
Jimin says without even a hint of guilt. Jeongguk bites his tongue, can’t say what he wants to say in front of Taehyung. And apparently Jimin notices, a small smirk growing on his lips.
His lips.
They’re swollen. And wet.
“Sorry Jeonggukie-“
“It’s fine Tae. I’ll just- I’ll be in my room.”
He turns around, feels an ugly feeling gnawing at him as he walks to his bedroom door.
“We’ll be quiet!”
Jimin yells after him. It’s not hard to imagine the pure satisfaction on his stupid face when he locks himself in his room.
He can hear Taehyung even through his earphones. And he knows Taehyung wouldn’t want him to hear, so that means Jimin must be really fucking good at giving head.
Of course he is.
Jeongguk scoffs, looks at the ceiling. Of course Jimin is good at sucking dick. Sungho was right after all; Jimin has fat, dicksucking lips.
His cock twitches.
Fuck.
He quickly looks at his phone, tries to distract himself from his thoughts. Must be tired. Yeah, he’s been recruiting all day with no results, he’s tired. He always gets a little hard when he’s tired.
He decides to call Jae. She hangs him up immediately.
Ah, fuck. That means she’s upset. He groans, throws his head back in the pillow, wonders what it is this time.
He calls her again, and again, but she keeps hanging him up. Annoyed, he stands back up and gets dressed. In these situations he always needs to go over to her place, otherwise all hell breaks loose.
He listens carefully before he opens the door to the living room, doesn’t want to be hit by that sight again. It’s silent so he walks in, sees the two of them cuddled up together on the couch which for some reason makes him feel bitter.
Taehyung scans him over, understands immediately.
“Jae?”
“Yeah. Sorry, I won’t be able to cook tonight.”
“You know I don’t mind. Besides, Jimin is here.”
Jeongguk looks over to Jimin, loathes that smug smile on his face.
“What a relief.”
Taehyung doesn’t notice his sarcasm, but Jimin does.
“Trouble in paradise Jeonggukie?”
Jeongguk scowls, doesn’t like how Jimin uses his name. He hates that Jimin is older than him.
“It’s fine.”
“What a relief.”
Jimin says, throwing his words right back at him. Taehyung looks between the both of them, seems to wonder if they’re being sincere or not. Jeongguk doesn’t want to admit it, but Jimin is pretty good at the fake smile.
“Volleyball trouble and girlfriend trouble would be a bit much, wouldn’t it?”
Jimin asks, tilting his head innocently.
That motherfucker.
“Volleyball trouble?”
Taehyung blinks.
“I’ll tell you later. I’m off.”
He says, heading out. He pretends he doesn’t hear Jimin’s “have fun!” for his sanity.
-------
“Why wouldn’t you pick up?”
He asks.
Jae stands in the door opening, arms crossed, obviously pissed.
“You really don’t know?”
“No, fuck, of course not, you kept hanging up, how should I know what’s up?”
“Maybe you should think about it. Go on, give it a go.”
He bites his tongue at the way she commands him around, but puts his pride aside and thinks about it. He’s pretty sure they didn’t have a date today. Right? It’s not their anniversary, and it’s not her birth-
Fuck. It is her birthday.
Jeongguk’s face falls.
“Fuck.”
Jae claps for him slowly, mocking him.
“You’ve figured it out. Congratulations. See how I just said that to you instead of you to me?”
He can’t believe himself. Of all things he could have done to fuck things up, forgetting her birthday must be on top of that list.
“Jae, I’m so sorry I really fucked up-“
“Yes, you did. I waited the whole day. I knew you had to recruit today so I thought you’d plan something afterwards but you didn’t. I only got a ‘sorry I’m a little tired’ message as an excuse for you not to come over.”
She’s pissed, looking at him with a scowl that sends shivers down his spine. He steps a little closer anyway.
“I know- I- I’m so sorry I was busy and just completely forgot about it.”
“Busy? I’m working 5 times a week and wouldn’t forget your birthday for anything. You know why? Because I love you. Clearly you don’t feel the same way.”
“I do.”
He says, stepping inside, curling his hands around her shoulders. She looks at him, then at his hands, clenches her jaw.
“You don’t. You’ve changed.”
“I haven’t.”
He leans closer, tests how she reacts to it. She doesn’t close her eyes, doesn’t burn up under his touch. It’s cold, all cold. Usually this works with her, he doesn’t get what he’s doing wrong.
Jae just pinches the bridge of her nose, shakes her head in disbelief.
“I know why. It’s so fucking clear really. You would never forget Taehyung’s birthday, weeks beforehand you stress about it, think about what to get him, ask me for ideas. You’re so fucking head over heels for him-“
“My god. Jae, Taehyung is my best friend. He doesn’t have parents, he doesn’t have his grandma to take care of him anymore. I’m all he has left.”
How many fucking times have they had this conversation? It’s insane.
Jae clicks her tongue, looks at him like he’s not getting it.
“He has a boyfriend now doesn’t he?”
Why is Park Jimin everywhere he goes? His mouth tastes sour and he clenches his jaw.
“So what? Taehyung’s last boyfriend was gone after 2 months. Guess who’s there to help him through those shit times?”
“Have you ever thought about the fact that his boyfriends leave him because they might see you as a threat?”
A threat? Jeongguk almost laughs.
“Oh come on, this is fucking ridiculous. Why are you jealous of Taehyung? I’m literally straight.”
“Oh please Jeongguk. Last time you couldn’t even get it up when we fucked.”
Jae is panting, angry, burning up under his fingers. And he’s the same, feels anger boiling in his veins as he eyes over her small frame. For some fucked up reason, his cock grows hard, and he presses it against her hip.
“Is that what this is all about?”
She gasps, bitch-slaps him right in the face. It stings a little bit.
“Don’t you dare make it about-“
“Didn’t fuck you hard enough last time, is that it?”
He slots his thigh between her legs, knows exactly which buttons to push.
She curses, pulls him closer by his shoulders.
“I fucking hate you. I hate you. You’re a fucking dick.”
“But you’ll still let me fuck you, won’t you?”
He doesn’t know why it always comes down to this. But he’ll choose this path over and over again if she keeps forgiving him.
It’s easier.
-------
When he fucks her, he catches himself drifting off in thoughts, can’t stay focused at all.
“I swear to god if you stop-“
“Sorry? I didn’t say you could talk.”
He pushes his fingers back into her mouth, smears them over her lips to make them all slick with spit.
The image suddenly pops into his mind. Those spit-slick, swollen lips. His hips stutter, and he panics, closes his eyes tightly to get rid of it.
But it lingers, it lingers in his mind with every thrust and it drives him insane. Like the click-clack of his Chelsea boots, like shine of his blinding bleach blonde hair, like his too tight skinny jeans hugging around his thick thighs.
He comes harder than he ever has before.
-------
Guilty guilty guilty.
That’s what he always feels after sex. But this time it’s worse. He hates sleeping over at Jae’s place but tonight there’s no escape. He forgot her birthday, leaving would mean the end of this relationship.
he feels guilty.
As she lies in his arms, peacefully asleep, he sighs. Wishes he could be asleep too, to not think about what the fuck went on in his mind.
But alas, he’s forced to face himself. Ask himself why Jimin popped up in his mind.
Maybe it’s because it was hate sex. Jae was angry, he was angry. And Jimin just annoys him so fucking much, that every time he’s angry his subconscious reminds him of him.
Yeah. He hates his stupid hair, his stupid jeans, his stupid boots. He hates all those things that make Jimin stand out so much from the others. Hates how much attention he gets for it, as if he’s somehow special.
He hates that.
And his lips.
They’re so luscious
Look so soft
So inviting
He hates those lips too.
-------
“Oof, someone got a slap to the face.”
Hoseok touches his cheek. Jeongguk almost forgot Jae slapped him, usually it doesn’t leave a mark.
“What did you do?”
“Forgot her birthday.”
Hoseok sucks in a sharp breath, painful expression on his face.
“Damn. That’s cold.”
“Yeah.”
There isn’t much more to say about it. Well there is, but Hoseok dislikes Jae so he doesn’t want to talk about it. Instead he stretches, gets ready for the game today. At least he can use all that build-up tension. He always plays a little better after a fight anyway.
“But she shouldn’t have hit you.”
Hoseok starts.
It’s almost comical, because he can’t count the number of times he’s been hit. It’s just the first time Hoseok sees it.
“I deserved it.”
He says, pulling his knee pads up, grabbing a ball. Hoseok keeps looking at him, like he knows something he doesn’t, but doesn’t say it. He drops the subject.
Good.
“Already talked to Jimin?”
An exasperated sigh leaves his lips at the mention of Jimin. Lately, he feels like Jimin comes up everywhere. He can’t escape him at home, not at Jae’s, and now not even at volleyball.
“Not yet. I’ll do it later today, I just wanna focus on the game.”
“Sure. I can also do it-“
“No, I’ll do it.”
He waves Hoseok off. Doesn’t know why he doesn’t take up on that offer. It would be much easier if Hoseok asks. But when he remembers how Jimin’s eyes lit up seeing Hoseok last time, he feels an uncomfortable knot in his stomach.
“Let’s get ready for the game then.”
-------
It’s bound to be doomed really. The game. They’re 2 sets behind, no one to switch with, a little exhausted. It’s going to push them back in the competition, which fucking sucks.
“It’s inevitable guys. If we don’t get new members we won’t be able to win this league.”
Hoseok says, pushing his sweaty hair back with a hairband. He’s all red in the face, fired up. The others don’t look much different. They’re just trying to catch their breath before the next set starts.
“Ah, look who came.”
Hoseok nudges Jeongguk’s arm, gestures up at the stands. He looks up, sees Taehyung and Jimin there. When Taehyung waves excitedly and smiles at him, he can’t help but smile back. Usually for out-games Taehyung doesn’t come, it’s a nice surprise to see him. Even if he did bring his arch-nemesis.
Jimin smiles and waves as well, but it’s directed at Hoseok. Instead, Jeongguk only receives a short nod of acknowledgement. He clenches his jaw, feels annoyance resurface just at the sight of his bleach blonde hair.
“Great.”
He sighs, cracks his knuckles and his neck before getting back on the field again.
He’ll show him. Doesn’t know exactly why he wants to, but he will show Jimin how fucking good he is at this game. As if that somehow makes him better, as if it would make any difference.
So he’s focused when the third set begins. Still warm from playing 2 other sets, able to get into it quickly. As the outside hitter he always has to be fast. Since their opposite hitter is not as experienced as Sungho was, Hoseok keeps setting for Jeongguk.
And it’s going really well this set. There’s fire in Jeongguk’s eyes every time he smashes the ball into the opposite team’s field. There’s fire in his eyes when he looks up at the stands directly after and sees Jimin look right back at him.
Though their defence is weak, they keep attacking. The best strategy is to just have a race of points. 18-16, 19-17, 20-18, as long as they keep scoring first.
And Hoseok and him make a great team. He knows where he will get the ball, knows all Hoseok’s quirks and traits, his misdirection to confuse the opposite team, the way he winks if he needs to play a soft ball instead of a hard smash.
Miraculously, they win the 3rd set.
He’s absolutely drenched in sweat, but smiling despite it. Even if they don’t win the next set, they’ve earned a point in the competition at least.
“Damn, you’re on fire gukkie.”
“You too.”
Hoseok high fives him as they walk to the bench.
He downs his water quickly, puts some in his hand to rub over the back of his neck. Then he brings the hem of his shirt up to wipe the sweat off his face. Taehyung whistles at him from the stands, and he looks up to shake his head at him. But instead he catches Jimin eye him up and down over his exposed stomach.
He blinks, thinks he might be imagining it. But when he lets go of his shirt, Jimin looks into his eyes, caught red-handed, turning his head away. An unidentified feeling spreads through his chest, something he can’t place. It worries him.
It worries him that he doesn’t dislike it.
“Hey, we’re switching court side.”
Hoseok pushes his shoulder to bring him back to reality.
“A-ah.”
He nods, grabs his bag and walks to the other half of the court with his team.
There’s nothing wrong with it. Jimin looking at him. He was just looking. Taehyung was also looking, whistling even. There’s nothing weird about Jimin looking. Just like there’s nothing weird about Taehyung looking. Obviously, they’re both into men. He’s a good looking man, that’s all there is to it.
Not weird at all.
“Get ready for the 4th set.”
-------
With a lot of struggle, they manage to win the 4th set. It’s a 30-28 in the end, struggling to make that 2 point difference after the max 25. But Hoseok is already past his limit. With their libero not being as good, Hoseok had to run more than normal to be able to give a good set-up.
“You’re exhausted.”
“I’m fine.”
Hoseok waves it off as he always does.
“You’re playing insanely good today, though. Trying to impress someone?”
He asks, seeing that familiar grin appear on Hoseok’s face.
“Funny you ask that. I was actually playing good because of Tae. Hope you don’t mind.”
Jeongguk raises an eyebrow, looks at the Taehyung, then back at Hoseok, sees them eye each other.
There is no way.
“Shut the fuck up. I’ve been trying to set you two up for years and now that he’s smitten with Blondie you’re suddenly into him?”
Jeongguk asks, because that is objectively insanely stupid.
“They’re not that smitten.”
Hoseok says matter of factly, waving at Taehyung with a big smile. Unbelievable.
“Yeah? You don’t see them give each other smitten blowjobs in the living room enough.”
Jeongguk shivers at the memory of Jimin’s spit slick lips, shakes his head to delete that thought.
“Dude.” Hoseok chuckles. “They’re in an open relationship.”
Jeongguk blinks.
“A what?”
Hoseok scans over his face, his smile disappears.
“Oh shit you didn’t know. Don’t freak out-“
“I’m not freaking out. What does it mean?”
Actually? He is freaking out a little bit. Hoseok knows him too well.
“Just that they’re also fucking others. Don’t tell them I said this though.”
He clenches his jaw, looks up at the stands where Taehyung and Jimin are sitting hand in hand for god’s sake. Hoseok is lying. They are extremely clingy, he never has a moment alone with Taehyung. No one else has ever come over.
There is absolutely no way.
“Are you sure?”
He asks, sceptical.
“Very.”
Jeongguk turns his gaze back to Hoseok, sees him avert his eyes nervously. How could he be sure? Unless-
Oh.
The eyeing between him and Taehyung just now.
He leans closer to Hoseok, doesn’t want anyone else to hear.
“You’ve fucked Tae?”
“Jeongguk-“
“5th set is starting, get in place.”
The referee calls.
Jeongguk only gets an ‘I’ll tell you later’ look from Hoseok. And he fucking better.
-------
He can’t concentrate.
Can’t concentrate at all.
Taehyung and Jimin have an open relationship. Something he’s never heard of. Something he was unaware of. And in a way, Taehyung can do whatever he wants. He can do whatever he pleases but he can not not tell him about it.
First of all, the Taehyung he knows is way too sensitive to have an open relationship. He’s pretty sure it was Jimin’s idea, corrupting his best friend like that.
Second of all, Hoseok of all people, why would Hoseok have casual sex with Taehyung? He knows how hard it was for Taehyung to get over certain exes because they turned out to just want him for sex.
It sucks.
It sucks even more because Taehyung used to tell him everything. And he gets that they’ve grown up, but he’s still protective over him.
And one thing Taehyung absolutely doesn’t need is an open relationship.
-------
They lose by one set.
It sucks. But Jeongguk can’t even focus on it. He can’t bring himself to care.
Once he’s left alone with Hoseok under the showers in the changing room he just snaps.
“You’ve fucked Tae? And you didn’t tell me?”
“Listen. I thought you knew about their relationship.”
“Well I didn’t. But then still, I tried to get you two together for years. Just not like this.”
Hoseok sighs, turns the shower off and goes to grab his towel.
“Don’t be so dramatic about it. It’s not like I’m using him. We’re just having fun.”
Jeongguk clenches his jaw again, tries to calm down.
“Having.”
“Yes, having. You’re ridiculously protective over him. Get a grip. He’s 23 years old.”
Somehow those words cut something in him and he just wants to slam a wall.
Hoseok looks at him, eyes widening suddenly.
“Don’t tell me you’re actually in love with him.”
“Jesus Christ. How many times do I have to tell you that I’m straight?”
“Then why does it bother you so much?”
“Because I know him. He’s jealous, naive sometimes, sensitive. An open relationship is not what he needs.”
Especially not with Park Jimin.
“He can do whatever he wants. It’s his life.”
Jeongguk doesn’t have anything to say to that. So he just shakes his head and walks out of the shower, so done with the conversation. Because what does he know anyway? Hoseok hasn’t grown up with Taehyung, hasn’t seen him break down over his other boyfriends.
He dries himself off in a hurry, gets dressed and packs his bag. He’ll make up with Hoseok another time, can’t bring himself to have a civil conversation now anyway.
When he walks out of the changing rooms he’s met by bleach blonde hair. A sight that makes his stomach turn.
Jimin is leaning against the wall of the hallway, two bags on the floor next to him. One is Taehyung’s, but he isn’t here. Jeongguk quickly scans the hallway to see where Taehyung is, but it’s empty.
Just his luck.
“So, lost today huh?”
Jimin’s eyes sparkle when he speaks.
Jeongguk can’t deal with this right now. As he eyes over Jimin’s proud stance, the way he’s folded his arms, one knee bent, foot against the wall. The way his chin is tilted up like he’s royalty. He hates it.
“Wouldn’t it be nice if you had some other players? I happen to know a few.”
Jimin’s lips spread into a twisted little smirk, and Jeongguk knows it’s not that serious but he’s agitated.
“You should break up with Taehyung.”
He blurts out.
Jimin blinks, tilts his head and eyes over him curiously.
“Why? Can’t stand me?”
“Oh, definitely. But that’s not the reason.”
“Oh, do tell.”
Jimin looks at him like it’s a challenge, and that alone makes his skin crawl. He takes a step closer, likes how his shadow casts over Jimin.
“You want an open relationship. And maybe for you that’s fine. You want to fuck any guy you lay your eyes on, that’s your thing. But Taehyung is sensitive, he needs someone to take care of him.”
Jimin’s eyebrows raise when he finishes, a humourless chuckle leaves his lips.
“Like you take care of your girlfriend?”
Jeongguk feels something in his gut, anger builds up, makes his skin burn.
“Oh, hit a bit too close to home?” Jimin grins.
“At least I don’t fuck others. How good can your relationship even be if you can’t stay loyal to one person?”
“Maybe you should try it once. I think it will loosen you up a little. Your girlfriend seemed quite happy grinding on another guy at the club.”
Jeongguk slams his hand against the wall, next to Jimin’s head. Jimin doesn’t flinch, keeps looking back at him with that nonchalance he’s getting used to.
Jeongguk is so fucking pissed. Losing a game, Taehyung not telling him about his open relationship, Hoseok and Taehyung having fun, Jae grinding on another guy. And then Park Jimin.
Park Jimin with his stupid bleach blonde hair, his dark eyebrows, his sharp eyes, his..
his full, pink lips.
Kissable lips.
Lips that look ready to be ruined.
Spit slick lips, post-blowjob, swollen lips.
He realises what he’s looking at, blinks up to see Jimin looking back at him, confused.
Fuck.
He quickly composes himself, stands back and grabs his bag. He doesn’t give another word, can’t really think of any words. He’s done with this day.
-------
“Heard you were grinding on another guy in the club.”
“You really have to bring that up during sex?”
He pins Jae’s wrists on her back, looks at her face pressed into the pillow. She doesn’t even care. Her tone of voice so disinterested, like it’s just a silly little thing she did.
“So it’s true.”
She huffs, looks over her shoulder, glares at him.
“What are you gonna do about it?”
He clenches his jaw, feels so fucking angry when he pounds into her. Everything about her makes him so angry. The way she moans, writhes, cries out, asks for more. He hates it.
He closes his eyes, knows he’ll get soft if he keeps thinking about how much he hates this. He tries to think about something else, something that turns him on, something-
Lips. Soft, full, pink lips.
When he thrusts into her, he imagines soft lips spread around his cock, taking him all the way in. God, it’s been so long since he’s gotten a blowjob. Can barely remember the last time Jae gave him one.
On her knees maybe? In a hallway.. wasn’t it after volleyball? He held her by her hair. Bleach blonde hair. Dark brown eyes looking at him with simmering hatred. Full lips around his cock.
Fuck.
