Hello hello!I know you're all here because you like my stories (and maybe me as a person), but even I have flaws and make mistakes hehe. That's why I'd love to hear your opinion on my writing, and some feedback on what you think could be better! It might be awkward to give feedback but I promise you I'd really love to hear even the tiniest things, like maybe you think I use too many commas, or use a word too many times in a sentence. Basically anything about my stories that you've noticed, it might be certain phrases, the way I write dialogue, the vocabulary, the pacing, the formatting, the language use, or even the plot or characterisation! If you've noticed something, or think something is unclear, or too clear, please tell me and I will take it into account <3Embrace tough love!

I love this! I sometimes see a few things in fics that I kind of want to correct or call out even with the best writers, but I don’t wanna seem rude or ungrateful and give unsolicited advice lol. Funny thing tho, I haven’t felt the need in any of your fics! 😆 Let me get back to you when I do loll

Bub 🫧

I'm gonna be honest, you works flows so naturally that I've never noticed anything that might need improvement. One thing I would love for you to never change is the spacing of your fics, the paragraph are not too congested and there's spacing between dialogue, it's literally so soothing and easier on eyes, I can't tell you enough

Brenda

English is not my first language so I really can`t tell and don't care about commas. I love how I can be immersed in your histories. For me, the goal is to feel, laugh, cry, be angry, and fall in love with the characters.

Rosie

You can also put it in your comments on a story if you do see one! I don’t mind it at all and just would love to become even better

Rosie

Ahhh I asked for feedback and you just complimented me 😭😭 thank you so much bubble, I’ll try to keep the formatting like that then!

Rosie

English isn’t my first language either so I completely get that! I feel like for people who speak English as their first language my use of words or commas might be a bit more confusing hahah

neohazed

I love the way you write so much, you really inspire me. I have no constructive feedback, honestly. Your flow is so smooth and easy to make me feel immersed/can make a longer fic feel fun to read instead of time consuming. Appreciate that you are always looking for ways to improve! And I am sure you will continue to grow as a writer as well. I wish I could contribute something, just wanted to let you know your writing has been extremely refreshing(been reading specifically jikook since 2016) and your fics have been some of the best I have come across🩷

Bub 🫧

Well feedback doesn't have to be constructive criticism, it can also be positive affirmations 🤭💖

Madalynn

Umm...like nothing 🤣

Rosie

ahh thank you so so much, it means a lot to me! I really hope I can improve more, I’m always trying to learn and hope it’s always immersive/fun for readers! 💕💕

Rosie

but you can say anything!!! Anything at all!!!

Madalynn

Can't fix what isn't broken 🤷‍♀️

niamh

you’re so courageous doing this!! go you!! one thing i’ve seen maybe once or twice is the use of ‘dress out’ as in undress yourself? other phrases like ‘strip’ or ‘undress’ or just simple ‘take off your clothes’ make sense in this context! i had to google this to be sure and im a native english speaker loooool but that’s literally the only thing ❤️

Rosie

Oh thank you for noticing that! 💕😭😭 it’s a literal translation from my first language so I wouldn’t have noticed if you didn’t point it out 💕💕💕

Rosie

In dutch you would say undress as to “pull clothes out” so I must have made “dress out” from that hahaha

2026-09-08 04:00 I really can’t think of anything to improve so I will just tell you what I like the most 🤣 I love (and I think I said it before) how your characters have refreshing personalities. Even when they’re short stories I can tell their personalities are well built. And I think it’s very difficult to use the same 2 characters over and over but with different personalities each time. I don’t know how you do it but it’s something I noticed and admire. 💕

well.. no 😭 i don't got anything, sorry. actually, i think reading your work has changed my preferences quite a bit. i am crazy about the way you narrate, the format you use in dialogues, how you make it easy to understand the perspective from which the story is being told, and that you don't overload it with unnecessary descriptions (there are things that can be understood on their own/self explanatory so i really appreciate that you only add what's necessary). you also make the stories flow very well; it doesn't feel heavy to read, and you don't leave any topics uncovered or anything that gives the sensation that someting’s missing, like i happened to have when it came to reading other people. i think you're very meticulous when it comes to writing but as someone who’s first language isn’t english either it’s kinda hard to tell too, so if anything comes to mind, i’ll have to write it down and let you know! :)

To be totally honest, ur the only writer whose work I consistently keep up with bc ur actually just that good. In my opinion and for my preferences, ur writing is perfect. Your work is just so so easy to read and I genuinely enjoy reading what you write, as opposed to sometimes when I read other authors writing it kind of feels like a chore to get through? The way you write actually makes the reader (or at least me) have fun whilst reading, I often find myself having physical reactions (like laughing or being in shock) to your stories. I really struggled to find anything to critique. Like genuinely thought for ages. If I had to say anything it’s that sometimes I find it hard to visualise what ‘position’ the characters are in, but that could just be me. Whether it’s due to the description or my misunderstanding, I’m not sure lol. But to conclude, ur so extremely talented and it amazes me every time I read your work how you are just so consistently good. I’d read full length books if you wrote them. (And also against the current was amazing and I knew you wrote it as soon as I finished reading it hehehe.)

Lottie

Also! Forgot to mention, my first language is English and I know you mentioned about language/grammar etc. but I’ve never noticed a single issue with it, ur writing sounds very native! I also appreciate that some of the slang you use is more common in the uk and as an British person it makes it more fun to read lmaooo

I think your writing is excellent. So creative and I love the way you get from point A to the unimaginable point B given where point A was. Like point B is CRAZY but somehow each step to get there makes perfect sense. It’s really amazing writing and storytelling. I will say in some of your earlier work I gave you the feedback that in scenes with a lot of dialogue I couldn’t always tell which person was speaking. That doesn’t really seem to be an issue at all any more, I can’t remember the last time I thought that while reading one of your fics. If you are doing that intentionally, I appreciate it. Keep up the amazing work! I’m always excited to read anything you write as soon as I can! Thanks for writing and for sharing it! 💜

Rosie

Ah thank you so much 😭😭 I do try to change up the personalities a little bit, even though I usually keep the baseline (jm being a bit sassy, jk a bit silly)

Rosie

ahh I’m so happy to hear this! I learned from another writer that not everything should be descriptive in the stories that I write, it’s all about character dynamic, not so much about the surroundings or the world building, so I tend to leave out anything that doesn’t set the mood, because it’s nice to let people imagine their own surroundings too. I’ve learned to not overexplain and cut anything that isn’t adding to the plot or the dialogue, so I’m very happy that you like that about my writing 💕🥹🥹 it makes writing easier for me as well, because I used to dwell on how to put “filler” words and scenes in because I used to think that’s what makes someone a good writer, but it’s really all about how characters interact (at least in romance stories)

Rosie

Thank you so much! I do intentionally not describe a lot of things because I feel like it doesn’t add much to my stories, I focus mostly on character dynamics and if I do describe stuff it’s usually inner monologue (which I try to make light and humorous in most stories) I also tend to use uncomplicated words, that’s mostly because I’m not a native English speaker and my vocabulary isn’t that big, but also because I know a lot of my readers are not native English speakers, so I think it’s a win-win! Thank you for that! I’m super bad with describing limbs and all, and I think I tend to forget which position my characters were in initially and might suddenly start writing a scene where one is on top whilst beforehand they were on their back, that’s probably the downside to not being used to descriptive writing haha, I shall try to focus on it more!!💕💕💕 I’m not sure what slang you mean but I’m sure there is some because I used to live with a roomie from Essex for years, her slang might have rubbed off on me 😭😭

Rosie

thank you! I saw you comment this once on my ao3 as well and it has stuck with me ever since. I do love starting a story where people either don’t know each other or are just miles apart from getting together! that’s the fun part of the stories hahaha. So I’m really grateful because I didn’t know how to put it into words, but when I saw that comment I was like yessss this is exactly what I like to write! 💕💕💕 True!! I do remember that feedback, it was after I posted a WIP from SUPG like a year ago? I asked people for feedback then and I read your comment and started focusing on that a lot! I was influenced before that by a writer who said he didn’t use any “he says/she says” or anything else because it should be clear from the context who’s talking. So I got overconfident and thought I could do it too, but with longer dialogue it’s kind of difficult to follow and you were right! I reread some scenes and made some changes to make everything more clear, so yeah I did actually start doing that more intentionally because of you! 💕💕 I’m really grateful for your feedback, it truly does help me become a better writer 😭

sparklymanda

there are lots of authors that i really like but they add a bit too much flowery language about stuff like scenery that isn’t super important to telling the story, and it feels like waiting to get to the good part lol. with your writing i have never had that thought because it’s all the good part 😂 but really, you add the perfect amount of descriptions so we can visualize the scene but it never gets boring. I always binge read everything you post because the pacing is so perfect and the whole story has me on the edge of my seat, before i even realize it i finished the entire thing at once lol. and i would NEVER have been able to guess that english isn’t your first language. it always blows my fucking mind when fic writers apologize for their english in the notes and then its literally the most beautiful thing ive ever read lmao 😭😭 LIKE HOW??? i genuinely cannot think of a single criticism im sorry lol 😭 the volume of quality content you give us too is insane, i am always in awe 💖

niamh

ahhh i understand!! you’re totally fine id say most people didn’t notice! ‘undress’ as a command isn’t very sexy lolol but it does make sense 😙

Iris ~

Uitkleden?? I mean, I get you haha

Iris ~

I can’t think of anything specific right now but if I do in the future I’ll let you know, respectfully of course :) very courageous btw for opening up to this

It’s so cool that you’re asking feedback like this! Not much comes to mind right now, except how fics are shared on patreon. Having a word/pdf/epub document instead of the chapters pasted on patreon as a post would be awesome. I personally hate reading in the app, cause I constantly lose where I’m at or go back without meaning to, and while the web version is a bit better, it’s still easy to lose where you’re at if you leave it for a bit. Some other authors I’ve been a patreon for uploaded PDFs (I guess that’s the easiest version) and it always seemed to work well for everyone! Happy to help if you have any questions. And I’ll keep an eye out for any other feedback to share 💜

Rosie

Ja en kleding ‘uittrekken’ “trek je broek uit” lol

kay

(This is a little late whoops) Love love LOVE your writing so much, it’s hard to find anything to critique. But something I’d love to see is adding the word count to posts here? Whether it’s for a new chapter or sneak peak, really anything more than a short drabble. I’m a slow reader and have a lot of trouble gauging how long stuff is on patreon just by scrolling, so I end up putting off reading and get behind on posts until I have a bigger chunk of time to sit down and catch up. I hope this makes sense/isn’t too nitpicky. Just knowing the word count would be so helpful! I saw another comment suggesting pdfs for new chapters and would love that as well, but I’d completely understand if that’s not something you’re comfortable with since it’s easier to repost/distribute content outside of patreon that way. I have the same problems with accidentally hitting “back” or losing my spot on the app. Admittedly I download most anything over 10k on AO3 to my phone/tablet to read on the Books app instead of straight from the browser. It helps keep my spot better and feels more like reading a book. Ty for asking for feedback (ur much braver than I) and for taking any of this into consideration! I’ll still be a loyal reader either way, even if that’s a little slower of a process for me. 💓

Rosie

Ahhh thank you so so much! I’m so happy you said this because sometimes I feel like leaving out descriptions can be a bit less.. uhh.. magical? Like sometimes people are so good with words that it feels like poetry to read about the world, but I have a rather flat vocabulary and that just isn’t my strength, so I’ve adopted a style that is heavily dialogue based, and focus more on character dynamics than scenery. I also learned to ‘skip’ boring parts, so I’m happy you think that “all parts are the good part” in my stories 😭 I try to make it fun like that, and I’m really grateful you receive it that way💕💕💕

Rosie

You can always tell me, even in Dutch hehehe 💕💕💕

Rosie

Thank you!! I’ll think about doing that because I understand it’s nice for the readability! the reason I’m posting it like this is because I feel like it prevents people spreading my stories? Maybe that’s wishful thinking, but I hope it’s like that 😭😭 Maybe in the future I’ll see if I can make a doc for finished stories!

Rosie

Thank you so much for your reply! I am trying to add the word count in the titles for you, hope you’ve noticed!! I get that it’s difficult to know if you’re gonna be able to read it all at once or wanna let it chill for a while before you start it. For me I always see the word count when I post, so I thought you might be able to see it as well! But it wasn’t so I’m happy you pointed it out. Yes you’re right, I’m kind of scared if I post it as pdf’s it will be very easily stolen/reposted/shared without my consent, so I think for now I’ll keep it like this, but maybe I can find out a better way at some point :( Thank you!! I’m happy you like my stories 😭😭😭

kay

I saw thank you!! That’s so weird that it shows word count for creators but not patrons 🙃 totally understandable for not posting as PDFs, especially when the point here is for the content to be exclusive! (Brb gonna go binge your new stuff now 💕💓💞)
