I’m just doing this poll to see what you all like! I don’t usually actually count the words of chapters, I write in one go and then later decide what I think would make a good chapter

i like any length for chapters tbh but i've heard some people say they prefer the shorter ones because of they get easily distracted when it's verry long chapters

Mmmm see I feel.its not my place to answer this one. I think that as tge author you know the way you wanna take things slow fast building tension or not. So I have no preference. I adore the work however long

Yeah I get that too! I’m not like that, even when a story has multiple chapters on ao3 I’ll choose to “show entire work” so I can just keep reading
