Oh it is worse. It is so much worse now.

Jeongguk is exploiting his crush, and for the cameras too. The subtle arm draping around his neck during interviews. The dropping of honourifics, the constant teasing. A hand running over his side, over his lower back, a squeeze in his butt. 

And god, the looks too. Jeongguk’s dark brown eyes glinting from all the way across a room, the way they narrow a little when he’s having fun teasing him.It’s bad.He should never have told him. 

It’s ironic though. Back in the days he would have loved all this attention, he would have committed murder to get even 10% of what he’s getting now. 

However, now, it’s just making him miserable. Playing along that it’s just this silly crush when each time Jeongguk moves a little closer his heartbeat goes crazy. Coming home and just faceplanting into his pillow, in his empty house, while Jeongguk goes back to his girlfriend.

It’s ridiculous, he should really just tell Jeongguk it’s not fun and games, but what good would that even do?

It gets even worse, actually.

At first the teasing and flirting was only for the cameras. But now, when there’s a group hang-out where there are no cameras in sight, somehow, he ends up like this.

Next to Jeongguk on Namjoon’s couch, glued to his side as they watch some old concert videos. 

It’s not even all that bad, it’s just that Jeongguk’s body is warm and comfortable, and the scent of his perfume is intruding his nose. 

There’s chaos all around, Taehyung is singing along, Hoseok is teaching Jin their old dance choreography, Namjoon and Yoongi are discussing the stage. 

He would join if the presence of an arm sneaking around his neck didn’t give him goosebumps. And fine, this still isn’t out of the ordinary. Jeongguk did occasionally do this, even before he knew about his crush. It’s just, the gentle touch of Jeongguk’s fingers on the back of his neck, and the ease in which he gives him a massage— fuck, it’s addictive.

Even though Jeongguk has been giving him massages like this his entire life, something about it today is.. different. It’s slower, the drag of his fingers, like he’s taking his sweet time, pushing deeper into his skin.

It’s so good he can’t even keep his head straight up, it falls forward slowly, his eyelids sinking. 

For a moment all the sounds in the background drown out, and it’s only Jeongguk and him on the couch. Just the warmth of their bodies pressed together, and those skilled fingers on his neck, unwinding all his sore spots.

“Good, hyung?”

Jeongguk rasps, close to his ear. 

It kind of feels like a provocation, like a ‘don’t you feel so good because of me?’  

he licks his lips, just nods once, can’t trust his voice to come out right.

Jeongguk moves even closer, if it’s possible, presses his fingers harder into his skin. The heat of his face radiates against his neck, breath fans against his ear— he’s way too close. Even with his eyes closed, he can tell that this isn’t a normal distance.

Plus, his ears are kind of sensitive. Not that he wants Jeongguk to know that, they’d only be targeted more.

Point is, the teasing is going too far. There aren’t even any cameras here, why is Jeongguk doing this?

The softest brush of Jeongguk’s lips against his earlobe sends a hot rush of arousal through his body, and the way Jeongguk encloses his teeth around it right after accidentally makes him moan.

Apparently it’s loud enough to alert the other members.

“Woah. Get a room?”

“you two good?”

“Sorry— just a massage.” 

Jeongguk gives a quick excuse, even though his spit is still kind of on his earlobe right now. His hand disappears then as well, and he makes some effort to put more distance between them. 

Jimin blinks his eyes open then, the lights of the tv screen the only thing registering, his dick semi-hard in a fucking group setting.

After the earlobe biting he knows he should probably definitely somehow tell Jeongguk he can’t handle it. 

That’s why when Jeongguk comes over to his place, he’s figured it all out. He’s rehearsed the conversation more than a few times in his head, will casually bring it up after a beer or two, and just say it’s getting a bit too much for him. Jeongguk will probably understand. 

What he hadn’t calculated though, is that a tipsy Jeongguk is a touchy Jeongguk. Maybe they should have eaten something beforehand. 

Jeongguk’s hand rests on his thigh as he shows him another video on his phone. They’ve been doing this for years, just watching reels and sharing them, and Jeongguk has probably touched his thigh like this a million times before too, but he can’t stop noticing it.It’s warm, it’s nice, and the way he gives it a squeeze occasionally makes his stomach flip. The videos don’t even register, he’s just trying to not get hard. He tries to subtly push Jeongguk’s hand away, but for some reason Jeongguk immediately catches on. His eyes flicker down to his thigh, then back up, the smallest curl of the corner of his mouth.“Too much?”Even the way he says it is so.. 

“No— I just, I’m warm.” 

It isn’t a total lie, he is kind of running hot. “Mmh.” Jeongguk just hums with a slow nod, but his eyes are shining like they can’t wait to find another weak spot. “Just like back at Namjoon’s place?”Oh he’s.. he’s going there huh. 

“That was different, you were massaging me and suddenly bit in my earlobe.”

“Well, in my defence, I didn’t think you’d moan.”

“That was just cause of the massage. The real question is, why did you bite me in the first place?”

Jeongguk chuckles softly, like he’s enjoying his distress.

“What, you can’t even handle that?”

Ah it’s so embarrassing. Because no, he can’t handle it. He can’t handle any of this, and he should open his mouth and tell Jeongguk this has to stop, but that smug grin is too insufferable. 

“I can handle it, I was just caught off guard.”

“Right.” Jeongguk’s eyes glint in that knowing way. “You can handle it so well, have to push my hand away when I touch your thigh.”

“That’s only cause I’m warm. Put it back there for all I care.”

Now that, he should not have said. Challenge is everything to Jeongguk, and he gladly curls his hand back around his thigh, moves even closer, that pretty lip piecing catching the light.

Fuck, he just looked at his lips too, this is going great.

Even when he’s looking away, he can feel Jeongguk’s eyes burn a path over his face.

“You’re blushing, hyung.”

“I’m not, actually. I drank, I’m just flushed.”

“Mm.” 

Jeongguk leans in closer, just like at Namjoon’s place.

It takes him everything not to lean away, he wants to prove it’s not doing anything for him, that any attempt Jeongguk makes to get him flustered is futile. 

“Are you pretending?” Jeongguk’s voice dips, just a whisper against his ear. “Should I check?”

Oh no.

An unmistakable rush of heat runs down his spine. he should really speak up before it’s too late, but Jeongguk squeezes his thigh, slides it a little more to the inside, and his eyelids sink instantly.

Fuck. 

“Jeongguk—“ Hot breath fans against his ear, teeth enclose around his earlobe, a gentle bite that has his eyes falling entirely closed. “Mmh.”

His entire body runs hot, blood rushes south in one particular direction— it’s too late to object. He’s getting hard at fucking lightning speed.

And Jeongguk is so blissfully unaware, chuckling like it’s all just some game.

“Knew it. You do have sensitive ears.” 

Jeongguk whispers, and Jimin can practically hear the grin spread on his lips.

That should be it. Right? Jeongguk made his point, he got his little laugh out of it, it should be over now.

Except, a hot, wet tongue drags from his earlobe over the shell of his ear—

“A—ah, fuck.” He clutches Jeongguk’s shoulder, but his other hand has a mind of its own, cups himself through his sweats. “Stop.”

“Mm?”

Jeongguk pulls back a little, that grin still on his lips. Those big brown eyes scan over his face, and then his grin slowly fades.

He has no idea what he looks like right now but if he had to guess: horny. 

It seems to dawn on Jeongguk too, the way he takes him in now, eyes running up and down his body with clear panic. As if he didn’t deliberately do all of that to turn him on for shits and giggles. 

Jeongguk swallows.

“Oh.”

Yeah, oh. 

“Sorry I— I didn’t think— I was—“ Jeongguk cuts himself off, eyes now dragging down to his crotch. “Fuck.”

It’s bad alright, he’s tenting in his sweats, even when he pushes it down, it just comes right back up— kind of obscene. 

He would be more embarrassed, but Jeongguk pushed him to the limit like this, so he can’t really feel any shame. He’s just so done with it.

Not to mention, Jeongguk’s hand is still resting there, curled around his inner thigh.

When he looks up, Jeongguk is still staring. Right at his dick too, not even an ounce of decency. As if it’s a miracle that he gets hard from being touched intimately by his crush.

Then Jeongguk opens his mouth, and closes it, a faint blush dusting over his cheeks. And when he finally looks up, his eyes seem a little glazed over too.
