I love it because you said it yourself, it's like underground fighting but with tennis, so they take the parody further with some usual stereotypes for that like the veteran fighter who trained for years in the mountains and looks for a challenge beyond legit tournaments, so they go underground or the one who puts so many chemicals into his body that he becomes a monster.
