Of course he would take the item. I mean we have sequels to make! Need a reason for him to go back in…. Again… again. Hopefully the next abridged should come out faster. During scripting they wanted it to be one episode but then saw it was too long and split it up. I would say 6 months would be a good guess though. Lack of “in game” scenes should speed it up. Although I do wonder how they will change some other scenes based on their plot changes… Speaking of changes, I would have bet money that they would have (somehow) trashed that entire chained scene. The censor bar was a really great addition. Helped to show how he was a real monster while not putting Asuna through everything in the original scene.

O and if your interested (not for react content since this is like 6 hours long, and a bunch of rambling...) Something Witty did a scene by scene talk over their last episode. They talk about problems they ran into editing, some jokes they set up in the beginning of the series, some others fell into place. How they spent almost a month (not every day) trying to write around the chained scene (one of their friends ended up giving them the censor idea).
