This group of episodes are some of my favourites.

Zero Three

Great episode isn't it? Lets get down to business Astral bind is different than Infinity Prison (the skill keeping veldora locked up). Infinity prison is vastly more powerful for one and can seal skills. doesn't weaken over time and is resistant to physical attacks. Disintegration is one of the most powerful holy magic attacks in world. Something not really mentioned is that to all monsters holy magic is their greatest weakness. So even if Rimuru was at full health he very much would of been destroyed by it. When it comes to the barriers surrounding the town. Anti magic area doesn't block the passage of people or items. it basically changes the in world laws of nature to prevent magic from forming, basically soft locking it. Its actually prison field that is keeping them locked in/out. A part that is easily missed is that prison field is holy magic, meaning that it effects monsters the most. Non-monsters can bypass the barrier however. Trade routes. that is why this war came to be. Something I think I've mention in passing and its not really mentioned much in the show is just how the world in general is dangerous for people to travel. Trade flows from east to west. but finding a safe passage is difficult... To the south you have the domains of Demon lords, Clayman, Milim, Carrion and Frey. Above that you have the Great forest of Jura. A vast forest with mountains, large rivers and monsters ranging from the non-negotiable unintelligent to the organised intelligent villages and such, they can be both powerful and hostile to outsiders. That is not to mention it is 'protected' by Veldora so many are scared to even venture forth into it. Above the Great forest of Jura is the kingdom of Fulmuth. Ruled by a king led in part by his greed. his kingdom tolls trade through his kingdom but you can be sure that compared to other routes you would be rather safe. To the north of the kingdom is the sea. Giant sea monsters like krakens and water dragons make it near suicidal to go through, worst yet to those who venture too far north and beach themselves on Ice Continent where the temperature is -184 F for odd reasons. So something like a road being built (as shown in episode 26) and a safe passage without the tolls? you'll end up with the trade and like its said 'A gain for Jura tempest Federation is a lost for Falmuth'. I guess that is everything for this episode. I'm looking forward to the next episode and what reactions that'll bring.
