The Nazgul are the Ringwraiths . The beasts they ride on are called Fell Beasts . Their just creatures of unknown origin created by Sauron's dark magic after the Nazgul's horse's were drowned at the river .

One more thing . In the Books , Sauron is not a giant eye but has regained a human form but much weaker and The Great Eye is just a symbol on their armor as a symbol of Sauron's dark and terrible power . Peter Jackson changed all of that for the movie's . Both work in their own way's .
