The painting: update 3 (Patreon)

Laying down a first coat. I decided to go with a pretty bold gradient utilizing water soluble painting pastels and oils. I will likely dull down a complexify the gradient in the next coat so as not to distract from the subject of the sequence when I get to that stage.
