I've got an appointment with a specialist on October 8th regarding my hand.  Until then, according to the person I saw today, as long as I can work through the pain, I'm pretty much fine to keep working.  so uh.  we'll see what I can do! My pain tolerance is not very high, but my not-working tolerance might be even lower.  I'm already seeing some decline into madness after serval days of "rest"

Pain's usually a sign somethings gone wrong. I understand clawing at the walls for not being productive but is there really a need to hurt yourself? Pushing past the pain may increase the severity of the injury. In the opinion of an internet rando, your continued wellbeing is more important than the product you put out. But what would I know, I'm just some faceless internet asshat

I feel the same way the content here is amazing but their health is more important keep going and being strong pushing past your pain it's not always the best option
