Chapter 452 – Assault on the Pocket Universe, Boarding the Necron Planetary Fortress

Rhodes briefly explained to Aisha the origins of Angel Zog, though Gaia TV never made these origins explicit.

The creators are actually humans from the future.

"Rhodes! Are you saying this Angel Zog was created as a weapon of war by future humanity? But from what era? Was she made a hundred thousand years into the future… or even later?" Aisha asked in amazement.

How fascinating!

Humanity was able to create such a terrifying bioweapon? She's a sub-god-class being! Even though the Emperor created twenty Primarchs, they only possess sub-god-level souls, not true sub-god power.

In fact, except for Magnus, the Primarchs' psychic strength doesn't match their souls at all. The Primarchs' souls are all fragments of humanity's gods from the Warp, and before meeting Rhodes, they were dormant.

Even with all the Emperor's forbidden technology and advanced methods—even with some warp-tech—the most he could do was barely contain those souls in bodies.

Level-four gods like this only arise in the Warp through faith or the power of laws; the real universe can't naturally birth such beings. The C'tan and cosmic beasts are pure energy lifeforms, not truly divine.

Otherwise, the C'tan wouldn't have lost to the Necrons. But the Angel Zog Rhodes summoned has a true sub-god soul and power! If future humanity can create such things, their potential rivals the Old Ones—maybe even surpasses them, since the Eldar the Old Ones made could only give rise to their gods through faith, not direct Warp creation.

"As for these future humans, I can't say for sure. It's only in the lore, and they're not from this universe, but another one entirely," Rhodes shrugged.

The writers at Tsuburaya never clarified it—just a vague, unsolved mystery!

"That's a shame. Do you think humans in this universe could ever create a god-tier bioweapon like this?" Aisha asked.

"It's possible, but only if humanity returns to true scientific research like in the Golden Age—and if the Warp doesn't interfere," Rhodes replied. The main obstacle for humanity is the power of the soul; no matter how advanced human technology gets, it can't create a god-tier soul—only the Warp can provide that.

Even the strongest psykers' souls are nothing compared to the gods. The Emperor is a special case, having been created by ancient shamans using the soul of Ellinill.

"I see! Your subordinate is impressive. Train her well; her potential is immense," Aisha said.

Now that she's in this universe, with such a powerful soul, she'll create a strong projection in the Warp. And since her power is pure light, which Chaos daemons hate, she can draw immense psychic energy in the Warp and stay safe—her abilities are naturally boosted here.

"Of course. I'll have Tartarus teach her how to use psychic power." Rhodes nodded.

Mefilas, thanks to their strong psychic abilities, have powerful souls. So does Tartarus. After coming to the 40k universe, all Rhodes's subordinates have Warp projections, letting them use psychic power—just as Rhodes himself did when he arrived.

Even the most powerful kaiju have soul projections, though their intelligence isn't enough to master psychic powers.

A few days later, Rhodes's fleet arrived at a strange star system—a void filled only with dead silence. This was the lair of Necron Overlord Trazyn the Infinite, or at least an entrance to it.

This Necron overlord caused Rhodes plenty of trouble when he first arrived in this universe, even though they'd never met face-to-face.

Trazyn had repeatedly raided Rhodes's kaiju ork ranch, even capturing two Emperor avatars and a Pedan warship. He'd also captured the Sisters of Battle and Space Wolves Rhodes first encountered, turning them into collectibles. Rhodes did not have a good impression of this guy.

To ensure victory, Rhodes summoned AsanethAyu to serve as his battle advisor.

"Father! If you wish, you could just tear open his pocket universe and broadcast the coordinates—trust me, plenty of other Necron dynasties would come to attack him," AsanethAyu suggested.

After her Ultra Beastification surgery, she'd become a super-lifeform with a lifespan of thousands of years, gaining the power others of her kind could only dream of. She now called Rhodes "father"—her body and soul were created by him, and though she had AsanethAyu's memories, the original woman died 60 million years ago; she was a new soul.

"No need. If other Necron dynasties come, they'll want a share of the spoils after defeating him. I want all of Trazyn's collection for myself," Rhodes said.

Letting other Necrons help would make it easier to take down Trazyn, but then he'd have to fight them for the loot. He hadn't even called in the Ynnari this time, just to keep all of Trazyn's treasures.

"Understood, Father. If that's your decision, I support you. But be careful—this Necron overlord is very powerful. He has all sorts of black-tech: tesseract cubes, time control devices, space manipulation… he can switch bodies at will," AsanethAyu warned.

If you're caught by his tesseract, you're instantly immobilized, even if you're a Primarch-level being.

"That's only because he's never fought me," Rhodes smirked.

"Master, I can clearly sense a pocket universe here. Just give the word and I'll tear it open," Tartarus said, approaching Rhodes, with the Angel Zog in white dress and a mask—at his side, now familiar with Rhodes's domain. She was joining the attack on Trazyn, wielding wormhole and space manipulation powers.

Rhodes smiled, went to the bridge, and activated his mothership's warp-jump to Trazyn's collection vault, targeting a Pedan warship.

Rhodes had already figured out how to get into Trazyn's pocket universe. With Tartarus and Zog's powers—or even his mothership—he could break in.

A flash of light, and Rhodes's massive mothership barged into the pocket universe.

Here was a star system with three suns: one red dwarf, two yellow dwarfs, providing ample light and heat. Around them were scattered planets, and at the center—a green Necron planet-fortress.

This was Trazyn's lair—a planet-sized fortress as big as a Tomb World. Once, a Necron planet-fortress like this invaded the Solar System, devastating the Imperium. Only at great cost was it destroyed.

It's a weapon even more advanced than an Ork Attack Moon. If the Attack Moon is a private car, the Necron planet-fortress is a main battle tank.

Rhodes's mothership looked tiny in comparison. As he jumped near the fortress, it fired a green beam at the Pedan mothership.

"Careful, dodge! That's a time-capture device—if it hits us, time will freeze and we'll be helpless," warned AsanethAyu.

"Hmph!" Zog snorted, spreading her hand to generate a white light-shield that enveloped Rhodes's mothership, blocking the green beam.

Rhodes grinned, then aimed all the ship's main guns at the fortress.

"All Space Marines prepare! Squad-based, bring your teleport bracelets, get ready to board!" Titus shouted, acting as assault commander. With him was Tyberos, leader of the Space Sharks, now over ten thousand strong under Rhodes.

"Ready! Give the order, Great Gene-Father—let's smash those xenos!" Tyberos roared, weapon raised.

"Raaah!"

Rhodes's gene-sons bellowed in excitement.

This time, they'd make their Primarch proud, show the Gene-Father their strength.

"Don't rush—no solo ops yet. Let's greet this Necron overlord first!" Rhodes said, then fired the ship's weapons.

Dozens of Pedanium main guns and hundreds of ray cannons unleashed rainbow beams at the Necron fortress. Its green shield blocked the barrage—this was a Necron energy shield, not a psychic or void shield—a top-tier defense.

The fortress retaliated with Gauss cannons—lethal disintegration beams. No armor can resist them. But Zog's light-shield blocked the beams.

After a fierce bombardment, the shield finally broke. Rhodes ordered his sons to attack.

"For the Gene-Father!" Titus roared, and teleporter lights flared as the Marines landed on the fortress, assaulting Necron units.

Power swords and chainswords roared; Pedanium ray guns blazed. Necron beams struck back but were blocked by energy shields.

Rhodes had prepared well—Pedanium armor was reverse-engineered and added to their power armor. Each Marine now had a shield, and their weapons were Pedanium ray guns—far more powerful than bolters or plasma.

Chapter 453 – Titus and Tyberos Attack: The Battle with the Necrons

With the boarding order given, Rhodes's sons surged like a tide onto the Necron fortress. Teleport flares lit the surface as hundreds of Marines appeared on the outer edges.

Their armor shimmered with Pedanium shields; chainswords and power swords hummed, hungry for battle.

"For the Gene-Father! For Glory!" Titus raised his power sword and charged a Necron Immortal.

His sword sliced a blazing arc, cleaving into the Necron's metal body. Sparks flew as sword met Gauss weapon. The Necron was split but lashed back with a Gauss spear. Titus dodged, then hacked off its head and tore it apart.

Emboldened, the Marines pressed the attack.

But these Necrons are no ordinary foes—they know no fatigue, pain, or fear. They counterattacked mercilessly.

The fighting was fierce—chainswords screamed.

"These metal skeletons are tougher than I thought!" Titus cursed, pressing forward.

"Hold formation, advance by squads of ten, groups of a hundred under their own officers—move!" he ordered.

Meanwhile, Tyberos led the Space Sharks in a brutal assault—chainswords roaring, tearing through Necron ranks. Pedanium ray guns fired rainbow beams, burning through Necron armor. The Necrons had no real defense against them.

"Kill these xenos! Show them our power!" Tyberos shouted, chainsword shredding a Necron.

The Space Sharks fought ferociously—each one an elite.

But the Necrons were just as fierce—elite Immortals swung giant power weapons like reaper scythes. The battle was brutal—Marines' shields faltered under concentrated Gauss fire, and some fell.

"Careful! Gauss weapons can pierce shields!" a Marine warned, only to be vaporized by a green beam.

"Vengeance!" The Marines fired back.

Imperial Space Marines know no fear.

"For the Gene-Father! Don't fall back!" Titus bellowed, leading the charge.

Their power swords and chainswords cut Necron bodies, Pedanium rays carved deadly arcs. The slaughter was intense.

The fortress's corridors were tight and booby-trapped. Necron numbers seemed endless—they poured in from all directions.

"Tyberos! We need to find the control center and destroy the tomb core!" Titus called.

Having served in the Deathwatch, he knew these aliens—killing Necron warriors means nothing; they just resurrect in the Tomb World. To win, you must destroy the core.

"Understood! Follow me!" Tyberos replied, leading elites deeper inside.

But the defense wasn't just warriors—massive Necron constructs appeared, bristling with Gauss cannons and phase blades.

"Damn! These things are tough!" a Marine cursed, firing his Pedanium gun, but the construct's shield held.

"Concentrate fire—target the joints!" Titus ordered. Focused fire broke the shields; beams burned through joints, and the huge construct toppled.

Marines rushed to hack the fallen constructs apart.

"Keep moving! No time to waste!" Titus yelled, storming deeper.

He and the squad leaders, wielding storm shields, even activated gigantification—growing to 60 meters tall, crushing Necrons.

The fighting grew bloodier; casualties mounted, but morale stayed high.

Whenever a brother fell, another took his place.

Their weapons tore Necron bodies, Pedanium rays killed by the dozens, and some Marines even ripped Necrons apart bare-handed.

At last, Titus and Tyberos's assault team reached the core control room—a huge green energy core flickered at its center, surrounded by Necron tech.

Guarding it were five-meter-tall Necron Lychguard with massive weapons.

Titus charged, smashing a Lychguard to pulp, then pulled out a Zetton capsule Rhodes had given him, releasing two Zettons.

To ensure success, Rhodes had equipped his commander with these monsters.

"This is it! Destroy it!" Titus roared, leading the charge.

But as they neared the core, a green shield rose, blocking them, while dozens of elite Necron guards appeared with phase spears, eyes cold and murderous. Deathmark snipers fired from afar—deadly green beams lancing at the Marines.

"We need to take these guys out first!" Tyberos sneered, chainsword roaring.

"For the Gene-Father—kill!" Titus and his men charged the elite guards.

"Destroy their core!" Titus's voice echoed in the control room.

….

Meanwhile, Tyberos and his elites engaged the remaining Necron elites.

The clamor of chainswords, power blades, and Pedanium gunfire filled the room, sparks and energy flares everywhere.

But as the battle reached its peak, a blinding green light flashed in the center.

A Necron Chronomancer in ornate robes stepped out, holding a staff with a green gem—his eyes cold and deep.

"Foolish invaders, did you really think you could destroy our core?" he sneered, voice metallic and mocking.

"Chronomancer! Careful—he controls time!" Titus warned, pulling back.

The Chronomancer laughed, waving his staff—suddenly, the air thickened, time slowed, and Titus and Tyberos moved sluggishly, even their thoughts bogged down.

"Damn, it's a time-slow field!" Tyberos gritted his teeth, struggling to move.

The Chronomancer approached, staff glowing, ready to strike Titus down.

But at the last second, Titus broke free in a flash of red light, immune to the time effect—he went berserk, slashing with his power sword and vibro-knife, bisecting the stunned Chronomancer.

Chapter 454 – Necron Overlord Trazyn the Infinite

Titus stood like a mountain on the battlefield, power sword gleaming with the energy of the fallen Chronomancer.

He glared at the oncoming Necron army. The air was thick with the smell of burning metal and ozone; the tension was suffocating.

"For the Emperor!" Titus roared, his sword slicing a Necron Immortal in two, metal shell shattering under the blade's vibration.

Tyberos followed, chain-axe roaring, tearing through another Necron.

Green Gauss beams lanced in from all sides. Tyberos rolled aside, ground behind him vaporized. Even with Pedanium shields, these attacks had to be dodged—one hit meant death.

"Watch it!" Titus warned, ducking a deadly beam, then cleaving a Necron Destroyer in half.

The Space Marines and Necrons fought in brutal melee—chainswords, power axes, Gauss beams, metal sparks—a savage, magnificent war scene.

A Marine split a Necron's head with an axe; another was vaporized by a Gauss weapon, armor shattering, blood spraying.

Rhodes's gene-sons fought to the death.

To forge a battle-hardened legion, you must let them endure the crucible of war. Losses are inevitable.

"For the Gene-Father!" Titus roared, muscles swelling as he went berserk, charging into the Necron lines—his sword a lightning bolt, every swing killing an enemy.

He punched a Death Titan, denting its metal shell, then tore it apart with his giant strength.

Tyberos followed, chainsword spinning, slicing off a Skorpekh Lord's mechanical limbs. The Necron screeched, trying to fight back, but Tyberos stabbed its core, destroying it.

"The Blackstone Matrix is ahead!" the legion librarian messaged, urgency in his voice. "We must destroy it, or our psykers are useless!"

Titus nodded, locking onto the distant, shadowy Blackstone Matrix, guarded by Trazyn's monstrous thralls—twisted creatures of metal and flesh, bristling with blades and spikes.

These were Trazyn's mind-controlled minions, expendable as cannon fodder.

"Charge! Destroy the Blackstone Matrix!" Titus ordered, inspiring the Marines.

Their power weapons gleamed in the darkness.

Necron Gauss fire poured like rain. Marines pressed forward through the barrage.

One was hit, armor melting, but staggered a few steps before falling. Another deflected a beam with his power axe, which ricocheted into a Necron.

Titus led the charge, sword reaping Necrons like a scythe. His berserk form was unstoppable—even Necron titans couldn't hold him back. He smashed a tentacled monster's head, green fluid splattering.

The two Zettons Titus released blasted the fortress with giga-degree fireballs, sending Necrons flying.

Against such bioweapons, normal Necrons were annihilated instantly.

Three titan units led the charge, boosting Marine morale—they would win this war.

"For the Emperor! For the Gene-Father!" the Marines roared, a tide of steel smashing through Necron lines toward the Blackstone Matrix and tomb core.

The battle was at its peak—every second, men and machines fell.

Blood and metal shards littered the field, the air thick with death. But Titus and his brothers never wavered—their eyes burned with victory.

"Destroy the Blackstone Matrix!" Titus thundered, sword raised high.

Boom! Titus's giant body was hurled aside—a massive blow de-gigantified him.

"My guests, you have trespassed in a collector's domain. If you leave now, I'll overlook this and let you go. How about it?" A stately Necron with a staff appeared.

This was Necron Overlord Trazyn the Infinite, master of the fortress.

When did humans acquire the tech to invade his pocket universe? How did they get in? What's the security flaw?

"Ze—tton!"

The Zetton roared, firing a trillion-degree fireball at Trazyn. Trazyn sneered, raising a green shield that blocked it.

Such monsters were far beyond other races' titans—even Necron tech might not be able to replicate them. He'd love to add them to his collection!

"Your end has come, xenos! You've insulted the Imperium, our Primarch Rhodes. You're a thief—you stole the Primarch's ship, the Emperor's avatars. You betrayed us at Cadia. You'll pay in blood," Titus declared.

Trazyn's betrayal at Cadia had enraged all the Imperium—if not for him, the battle could have been won. And he'd collected an entire company of Space Marines, Sisters, Inquisitors, even cloned Primarchs—the last battle of Solar Lord Macharius. Each deed was a grave insult.

Before this fight, Rhodes's sons had sworn to make Trazyn pay.

"To be honest, you'd all make excellent collectibles! If I could, I'd love to add you, your ship, and your Primarch to my collection," Trazyn said.

At that moment, a golden light flared—Rhodes appeared with Tartarus, Aisha, and the newly summoned Angel Zog.

The training was done. Time for the final boss—Rhodes would finish this himself.

"So, we finally meet, you shameless thief," Rhodes sneered.

Trazyn glanced at Rhodes, then saw AsanethAyu—and his circuits nearly shorted.

My god, what did he see? A living Necrontyr—a female Necrontyr!

"Where did you find her? Tell me, where did you find her?" Trazyn asked, agitated.

A living kin—one who might change his entire race's fate!

"Oh, her? Want to know? Too bad—I'm not telling you," Rhodes grinned mischievously.

Just as planned—he brought AsanethAyu to provoke Trazyn.

Rhodes winked at AsanethAyu, signaling her to proceed.
