Great reaction and many thanks for the 5pm timing! As you say, this is a superb episode, with the joy of the victory tempered by the crushing reality of lost lives. Poor sweet Marco - too good and pure for this world. Jean’s trauma at finding his body is haunting. (Btw, Jean’s name is pronounced in the French way, not like Gene). One thought - the reason you’ll often seen the troops on the ground is that the ODM gear only works in very close proximity to buildings or trees. In wider streets or open areas, such as the space where Eren has to approach the wall, the ODM gear isn’t nearly as effective. So the troops have to be on the ground to protect him - but this leaves them very vulnerable. Can’t wait for more tomorrow and for the climax to this amazing season!

Now now, bro.. Don't use Mikasa as the standard when it comes to killing titans 😂😂 Mikasa has very exceptional ability everyone will look like dumb compared to her 😂 Normal soldiers usually work in group to kill a single titan, or at the very least, in pair. One to distract the titan, and another to land the blow to their neck. Not only Marco was a fresh graduate soldier with zero battle experience since it was his first battle, Marco was also alone. He might be behind the titan but he would need to shoot his hook to the titan's neck to get closer to it to slice it, and in that moment, the titan could turn around and grab him instead. And Jean wouldn't be able to help Marco since his gear was malfunctioned. It was a risk that could easily be avoided by only distracting the titan. That's why Marco (and Connie) decided to just distract the titan instead of trying to kill them.

My suggestion is you don’t need to watch 2 animes in one time. It ruined the fun you might have. And AOT’s season 3/4 need a lot of conflict’s comprehension. To this day, people who have watched it til the end can’t find the right solution of the problems. I don’t think that’s the great idea. But, it’s up to you anyways. But for me, it might ruin your ability to remember this or that and easily get confused. Season 3 and 4 will dig deeper than any tv shows would have done.

When it comes to season 4 and go on, It’s not about fighting anymore. It’s about moral’s conflict that no one can solve so I don’t think you should watch it all in one time. And BP is about to comeback. I’m sure you will pay a lot of attention to them. In conclusion, I think you watched a lot of things enough. If you do too much, it might be your burden not amusement anymore. (And that’s just my opinion. You can do whatever you want 😅)
