As always, Eren is the only one who does things for others. He went alone for the story. Armin and the others care more about themselves, honestly, not that he's wrong. That's why I agree with Eren almost always. He's always doing it for the greater good or for his friends. I think this episode clarifies a lot of things even for the final seasons. There's Annie's ova too, it has a different ending and different music, which is good. I think the openings with the lyrics are more impactful after you watch the anime. I didn't know that the opening had Jean as the protagonist of the OVA.

I can't trust when people say that something "tastes like chicken". I've heard that being said by too many different things. I draw the line at lizards tho. Can't even look at them. To think all this happened before ep 5 tho...

I was binging your content and while I was doing so this one dropped. I always love when these things happen 🤩 I wish I made it here a week from now because now I want to see you reacting to season 2 so badly 🥺 Season 1 will look lame compared to what comes next. And always wishing you a good health! You're rocking these wigs btw

Atlas

AHHH I'M SO EXCITED FOR YOU TO START SEASON 2

Branturnal

I mean probably to sex traffic her or something nasty 😭

Branturnal

Right? Like at this point does everything taste like chicken?? I also don’t know if I trust Sasha’s taste buds since she would eat anything lmao

Jan

Maybe it's because he isn't concious of his Titan powers so his regenerative powers slow down to a human's level? Cause it would have been very concerning if he healed that fast during training where there is no doubt they get injured

Emperor Nagrom

Or maybe chicken tastes like lizards?

Jake

I have a slight feeling that you "might" be confusing Reiner and Bertolt's names :D

Branturnal

Hmm good point. This entire time lizards have been the standard

That particular moment, it could also have simply been an animation trick to show his mood at the time, steam coming from the head is also used to show frustration/anger, so I guess it could be a bit of both, the animators messing with us, and simply just our own misinterpration of the scene or belief it was something else. Because you are right, dormancy of powers until triggered is very much cannon - also the healing kicks in straight away I'm pretty sure unless you have the mastery to control it, to either prevent it or to focus it somewhere else (like Annie), which also explains why when he had his Leg & Arm cut off during ep.5 there was no steam or attempts from his body to begin healing the injured limbs.
