This is Marley in a War with the Mid-East Allied Forces (not Paradis island). When the rest of the World learned they had lost two of their titans, losing the Colossal especially, many of Marleys enemies united against them. The rest of the world has been steadily advancing in its technology since the end of the great titan war, but Marley has somewhat stagnated, given that they rely solely on the power of titans to win their wars, it has meant their innovation hasn't has advanced as much as other nations. This is also another reason why they want to get the founding titan as quickly as possible, for if they could control all titans, it would mean they would have time to catch up technologically.

Opening is safe to watch, so is the ending

Mimo

this OP & ED are safe ✅ 2nd half of S4 ones are NOT safe 🚫

Mimo

now that the whole world opens up, and based on our earth... be ready to see different races and cultures represented

Mimo

the 9 titans -cont.- ------------------------ - JAW (Ymir-Galliard) small and jumpy + strong jaw obviously - CART (Pieck) duck luggage (yes it was me 😅) + Tank equiped

Mimo

New OST composer, new tracks... the vibe shift is real! One day you have to react to the AoT soundtracks too — Seasons 1–3 by Hiroyuki Sawano — Season 4 by Kohta Yamamoto it's a whole experience on its own 😭🎧

Julia

Fun fact: the VA for Falco is the same VA for Tanjiro

sara~

My mannn in the end looking so fine.

Koinu

Intro and outro are safe, intro was only spoilery if seen before starting this season. But welcome to the other side of the sea 🌊 🕊️

I know Gabi is a bit (a lot) cocky, but you've got to give her the credit - she convinced the Marleyan army leader to let her have a try at stopping/blowing up the anti-titan train, and she went there and delivered. Her being able to do that saved around 800 other Eldian soldiers from marching straight into death

Branturnal

That is a fair point; she was pretty damn smart about it too lol

“WHO IS THAT?” LMAOOO WHO THAT IN THE BAAACKKK 🫦🫦

You’re so quick to catch things! 😂 I remember wondering if it was the wrong episode or if I had just confused it with another anime.

Alrighty so quick recap of important lore before the next few episodes. -Paradis is on an island inside walls to escape Marley. -The walls are made up of titans. -Annie is still in her hardening from the end of season 1 -Marley and the Eldians from Marley see the Eldians in the walls as Devils -Titans are inherited by becoming a titan and eating someone who can transform into a titan -being injected with titans spinal fluid insta turns you into a titan unless designed not to -titans shifters only gain the memories of past shifter not future (important) That's the main important things to know for season 4 that I can think of currently I'll add more next episode if I remember any. Also yes we are 4 years after season 3's ending, and rn our people are still on Paradis in the walls, it stays like this for a good few episodes. Good luck and enjoy season 4 :)
