Mery

You are officially the biggest Hange simp

Mina E.D

Man bun Eren here to ruin my life. (I can fix him)

Rhinoek

This episode is a good taste at what the rest of the season will be like, so ready to see him spiral into depression as the series continues 😅

whistle94

this ep is basically laying the groundwork for the rest of the season... bran, you're definitely not ready for this

Kishibe Rohan

In short the tattoo is what mikasa was doing with her mom before the scene where they were attacked, The anime changed it to an embroidery pattern because “kids cant have tattoos”

Grumpy Pants

I think you might have missed a point in the previous episode where they said they "cleared the area of titans". The entire island has been cleared of titans, there are no stupid titans left.

Branturnal

Ooh?? I thought they had meant just the near vicinity 🤠

Asfldefle Kjellburger

Hange is truly one of the greatest characters in media, I can't get enough of them

Miguel

I have to wake up in five hours but I had to watch this first

Koinu

The train scene is always so sweet. I love how they all try to take the burden themselves and dissuade the others from inheriting it so they don’t have to have a short violent life 🥹.

Şəhla Abbas

I didn’t say it at first because I didn’t want to spoil anything, but now I can — you’re totally Armin (in Season 4). I still can’t say what I think about the Sasha and Eren laughing thing because of spoilers. Damn :)

momma

"WHAT IS YOUR FUCKINHG PROBLEM EREN?!" lol

momma

same, DADDY

my favorite part of the episode: when Mikasa and Eren blush at each other :))

The anime cut some details out of Azumabito's explanation of Zeke's plan to help Paradis, so I want to reiterate it. Its a three step plan: 1. Have Eren and Zeke make contact and unleash a small amount of the Colossal Wall Titans to show the World their power and deter them from attacking the island. 2. Paradis is 100 years behind the rest of the world in technology and needs to catch up. Hizuru and the volunteers will help modernize Paradis' infrastructure and military. This wont take 100 years, but they estimate it will take at least 50 years to restructure Paradis. 3. During the next 50 years Paradis needs to be able to defend itself from the World with the Rumbling until their military is strong enough to handle threats by itself. They need a royal blooded titan available at all times for the next 50 years, so Historia will inherit Zeke's beast titan and continue to pass it down to her descendants. And Eren's Founder will be continuously inherited by any non-royal. Honestly a good plan, but the big issue is that it requires the sacrifice of Historia and her children/grandchildren.

Didn’t Eren not laugh out of happiness? In the scene shown before the ending, he was actually gritting his teeth. People have different ways of laughing. some laugh sarcastically, some laugh out of sadness, and others because they find something funny. So why do we interpret it in the only one way?

olive guitar6227

this guys so smart he forshadowed his own foreshadowing ("do you have to inject it, what if he [zeke] poisons the water")

Oxirius

They also said it in episode 22 of season 3, when they went on an expedition to the sea, all the remaining titans were in Wall Maria and killed by the exterminator trunk ;)
