That’s exactly why Attack on Titan is a masterpiece — it messes with your feelings so much that it even changes the emotions it made you feel in the first place. Like, it literally takes away your emotional freedom. There was that one scene with the Marleyan soldier who killed Grisha’s sister. When Grisha asked him “Why?”, he was like “Because you’re Eldian,” and all that. But the thing is — that scene was really meant for the audience. Right after that, when he got eaten by a Titan, it was maybe the first time we actually felt good about someone getting eaten. And that was only because of who he was. By the way, I upgraded my subscription, but the movies still show up as locked. Which exact plan do I need to actually unlock them?

Branturnal

“Dusk Walker” plan is for movies! :3

But I am Dusk Walker. So it’s probably just some technical issue. Thanks💙

Jake

I think the brilliance of how S4 is done is simply that it shows you both sides, war is rarely cut and dry, good guys vs bad guys scenario - it was also why Sasha's death was short and unexpected, not everyone get's a heroes death, not everyone goes out in a blaze of glory, and I feel as though other tv shows, other films and other animes will often always attempt to either glorify death or glorify war in some way, and AoT breaks from that, and tells you actually, we're all bad, and we're all losing people we care about, on both sides, and no one can actually tell who's right, or who's in the wrong, but we're still fighting anyway.

You mentioned in one of your posts that later you'll rewatch AOT, so I wanted to ask, will you rewatch only the episodes or will you rewatch it by rewatching your full reactions ? I think it would be cool to see and compare what you said/thought before finishing/while watching and after completing it because there were definitely some interesting things that you said before that would be worth exploring again after seeing the end

Branturnal

that is not a bad idea at all! id definitely like to see what I said and see if I got anything right throughout the show :,)

Jake

This would be awesome tbh

Miguel

This is the actual start of the show, right now, almost quite literally

momma

this is not the episode i thought :( til tomorrow i guess ( sigh )

FernandeX

See? This is the reason I love AOT, there is no such thing as completely good or bad characters, they're just people fighting for their beliefs... Except Floch, why is he still alive? (jk XD) Btw, the name of the Jaw titan shifter is Porco, Galliard is his last name.

Grumpy Pants

It's popping off again, strap in!

diurnal

oh, kill this guy- *BANG!*

Grumpy Pants

New OP next episode, would advise to skip for now. Episodes 79&80 make for a great double btw, if you have the time to watch both on Saturday!
