Ymir... so many questions..

also during editing... did she die from that spear and choose NOT to heal? to escape the slave life?

The deal with the devil was just a propaganda made by the Marley, dont worry its not a spoiler. :)

AOT discusses the concept of “slave” multiple times, and I think Ymir's continued obedience to King Fritz, even after gaining her powers, illustrates how a slave can give up their own will and follow orders no matter what. Similarly, honorary Marleyans like Zeke and Gabi have also gained great power, yet they still choose to serve Marley, likely due to brainwashing

It’s not spoiler but yeah, she chose not to regenerate as she saw that King Fritz didn’t care about her at all. And as she died, the Paths/Coordinate was created, if you take a look, when she died there was only a big tree (like the one she entered when she encountered the “parasite”), but as her daughters Maria, Rose and Sina devoured her(that’s why titans eats humans) the Paths/Coordinate divided in three branches, and so on, and on until every subject of Ymir was connected to them.

Fun fact, check episode 25 of Season 1 real quick, where Eren is about to bite Annie out of her Female Titan form. Check what he says

Koinu

Eren put on his best deep voice for that speech to all the subjects of Ymir lol.

Given the 'something' is unknown, it could be a devil for all we know.

Remember to watch the opening next ep!

You probably know this already, the reason Frieda lost to Grisha is because she didn't want to fight at all, due to the vow renouncing war. I was wrong, Eren not only saw that fragment of himself manipulating his dad when he kissed Historia's hand, but everything it seems. And about Ymir... -The creature that attached itself in Ymir's back is, or at least is based on, an Hallucigenia, which is an ancient animal. -When she first transforms, the "spark" that appears when every shifter transforms was shaped in ressemblance of a tree. -When Ymir died and found herself in "The Paths", you can see that "The Coordinate" was jus a big pilar of light, but when her daughters eat her remains three "branches" appeared from the coordinate, which simbolizes the connection with the titans (now the coordinate also looks like a tree, with each "branch" representing a subject of Ymir). -Idk the reason she still served king Fritz after becoming a shifter, maybe it's beacuse she had a submisive personality, even before she was turned into an slave by the Eldian Empire, but I can tell for sure that she didn't regenerate from the spear because she lost her will to live realizing that king Fritz didn't love her for real and only saw her as a tool.

Crow

look sucks they he was driven to genocide of all races but like..... if he just stood by his people would meet the same fate no matter what

SJ.

That speech in dub was way better I think. I believe this entire show is way better in dub.
