So far I have been pretty iffy on this show as a whole but episode 7 has completely won me over from here on out.. if we get sprinkles of serious tones underneath the comedy and fun ILL BE THERE!!

I didn't realize this on my first watch through but the scene of the mom dancing after she loses her daughter is on a roof top, and at the end she jumps off which is why you hear the thud. Aira sees her as a ghost afterwards (kids are said to have an easier time seeing ghosts) which is why Aira's dad can't see her.

also Momo touched the yokai's aura and connected it to Aira to bring her back, which is why Aira and Momo saw her backstory
