A lot of people happen to miss this, understandably so, but Kalluto Zoldyck (the one you keep calling daughter) is actually a boy. A theory as to why he dresses so feminine/androgynous is that he respects his mother and models himself after her

He is referred to as "he" and if you look it up he is a boy on the Hunterpedia. All the Zoldyck children were born male

the anime probably won't come back till the manga ends and considering the rate that the author (understandably) releases new chapters at... it either takes well over a decade.... or possibly never (i hope not)

I'm surprised no one mentioned the 1999 anime version to you. I highly recommend that, before reaching episode 76, you take some time to react to the first episode of the 1999 HxH adaptation. That version includes a plotline that was removed at the start of the 2011 remake, and it is important. This suggestion isn’t just mine; reactors are often advised by the community to check it out. Even if you skip it, you won’t be lost because later they kinda fix that (for me bad) alteration, but the omission affects how we, as viewers, perceive a certain development in later arcs. It’s also valuable to see how HxH was animated in a different era, with another artistic direction. Some fans prefer the atmosphere and vibes of the 1999 version, though in the end it’s a matter of personal taste.

It's kinda pointed out because at some point Kalluto refers to himself as 僕 (boku), which is a first-person pronoun mainly used by men.
