Season 1 is the only season that is considered good. This might be the perfect show for manga reactions. Idk if you ever wanted to do that but it would be great

In Tokyo Ghoul they did something I’ve never seen in any other adaptation. They made up the plot from a certain point instead of following the manga (this often happens in several anime). However, in its third season they went back to the manga’s storyline and pretended nothing had happened, acting as if the events of the second season had never occurred, and showed flashbacks of events that didn’t happen in the anime’s second season but did in the manga.

The best part of this anime for me is the soundtrack. The composer, Yutaka Yamada, is one of my favorites. Search for "Licht und Schatten" on YT

That's why i only really liked season one and two. Wish they would've just stuck to their storyline

Blue exorcist did the same but in their case it was the second half of the first season

season 1 is genuinely one of the best seasons of any anime ive seen but season 2 and 3 just dont work together and was too confusing for me to even finish

Season 1 is way better then season 2 and 3 but still only a 5 out of 10 compared to the manga but as a anime its great but if you decide to watch the whole first season and then read the manga i would recomend to start from chapter 1 again
