I don't know how you don't cry doing these, I've seen this show already and still started sobbing like a baby 😭

blairwaldcrf

also after watching the rest of the video 😂... 1) I'm so freaking glad you liked the "raw" cluster(s) fight scene in the italian restaurant because it's honestly my favorite of the entire series 2) I think part of the point of the lito/sun scene was that Lito wasn't only there for Sun's strength or for Sun to tell him to shut up. He was there to release her emotions for her, because like he said, she never will 3) you're so right about Amanita getting to meet the cluster! it was as cool as Will figuring out Riley was real through a phone call in s1 to me because she's been a day one believer (not that i don't love Diego lmao) 4) the story Nomi tells about Teagan singing happy birthday when she woke up from surgery also means so much to me as a lesbian. obvs not all trans people want surgery, and surgery isn't what makes you trans, but the scene was just so beautifully accepting especially for the year it came out (and especially the need for it now) 5) I love how back with Will, Diego always held back and let him do his thing, but with Riley, he always is the first to walk in to any new room and stays right by her despite being creeped out. I think it shows the bond he has with Will and trust. (also as far as the suicide, I think they could explain it as a wellness check for Riley's "missing friend", cause at least in my state they're able to break in if mental health is at risk) 6) the faces you make when Ajay is on the screen giving kala gift are absolutely hilarious

The last two episodes have been the most balanced for moving episodes, giving us all the feels 🙏🏼

Jade

The more interconnected they become, and the more they are able to move as one/all work together at the same time, the better the episodes get. But of course there's not much left 🙄. And Will's dad's death, just like Riley having to be stuck on that mountain top, was extremely painful for her. They can all feel what each other feels. Hence the emotional overlaps, the intense orgies, the feeling of rain, the taste of coffee, tea, or hash, ect. Lito feeling period cramps, and Will feeling suffocated, for example. So during the fight, they probably all felt that punch the way that Wolfgang felt it. He has a high pain tolerance though, which is why he tends to step in for others when anyone is going through anything that is pretty painful. Like when Lito was getting punched during the fight, he was not only helping, but he was taking hits. He also stepped in for Sun when the people were trying to kill her, and they were brutalizing her. But once it went beyond a point, everyone started to filter through, because they all felt it. Sorry for the formatting, because I'm on my phone, but I am once again petitioning for The Magicians. No one reacts to it, for lame reasons that will become apparent pretty quickly (like they did in this show), and it is a phenomenal show.

I love the magicians, I was just thinking about doing a rewatch too

Jade

I'm doing one now! It is on Amazon Prime Video or whatever it is called now.

Gabs

Totally unacceptable sauna scene. Germans, in a sauna, WEARING their towels?!? No way this show copped out on nudity when it was most called for!

blairwaldcrf

OMG I was just going to recommend magicians this morning, I was obsessed with that show. I even drew art and wrote fanfic! 😂

Jade

Help me convince him!!! Lol

Apai

Wow episode 8 might be my favourite episode of the entire show so far, lots of memorable lines

frankfreezy

hahaha. Yeah that does seem odd not to have the nudity there.

Julia Timlin

These two episodes are some of my faves! I love Nomi’s freedom and her father calling her “daughter” 😭 I get choked up every time lol. And the ending with Will’s dad passing it always blows me away how his father can see him, through Riley. They talk so much about the difference between sapiens and sensoriums but it’s those small moments that connect the two species’. And then Dani kicking ASSSSS with that agency. She’s a real one. Love this show so damn much.

Catherine Thurmond

I still get emotional at Will dad seeing him. It's like ones he was at the veil between life and death he connected to probably one of the things sensates are connected to. Oh also I can't believe you're already going to be get to the original season 2 ending already wow Like say but no. Lol Just like with IwtV I love your reactions.

Kate

Ah yes the “depressed Lito wanders around in a onesie ep” 😂😂 So good. I love how big the family is now and how often we see them working together. And that ending showdown in the restaurant!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

will's dad's death breaks me. every single time. i am undone. kid will and adult will crying out for his father, dad come back, dad please, don't go. why'd we stop playing catch? go get your mitt we'll throw the ball around. and then i think about my dad, and when was the last time i played catch with him, and did we know it would never happen again, and now i am tearing up writing this. this show's emotional moments hit So Hard, they are So Well Done, both story wise and climatically. like the shift from child will in the chair, to adult will in the chair, to riley sitting there, to will alone in the flat is just such good visuals. because when our father dies we are all just the same little kid begging him to stay with us, to not go, to come back, please come back. on a happier note! dani's phone call is amazing, their little family means so much to me. how seriously she and hernando take lito's career, his dream. the way all three of them fit together and work to love each other and make good things happen amanita. my girl. my love. my queen. smartest woman in the world, how she thinks to call diego on facetime, and then that like awkward moment of, i'm a friend of will and riley's, are they there? which is a ridiculous thing to say to a random cop you've never met but then! riley is there! and not only does amanita get to Actually Meet another cluster member she's been hearing about, caring about, trying to save, but! riley's pure Relief and Awe at actually meeting amanita, the combination of her feeling nomi's love but also her own growing feelings for amanita. there are lots of pins set up in this season. some are knocked down. some are ignored. some are glossed over and made to look like they have a satisfying conclusion. and some are just cast aside. i wish we'd gotten longer to tie things off and see stories through, but we got what we got, and i do love it.\

I did some digging for you, Frank. The painting you asked about is Virgo Paraiso—it’s his self-portrait. Looks like a bunch of his other paintings were used in Sense8 too🙂

frankfreezy

I like that explanation of why his dad was able to see him💛

Atom

Damn. Since watching this the first time (and coming out as trans), I've *been* the trans girl in a wedding party trying not to be the center of attention at someone else's wedding while coping with absolutely outrageous circumstances that place me, against my will, at the center of attention. Word to everyone in the world: Things tend not to go well for trans people when we are the center of attention! We usually have tips on how to help prevent this happening! Take our advice so we can both benefit from that not happening!

Danielle Long

"why are you gae" had me rollin omg

Danielle Long

Man, the scene with Will and his Dad. Can't.

Beezy Queen

(finally getting caught up) ugh i have such a weakness about plots involving fathers-- bawled when nomi's dad called her his daughter, and bawled again at the end with will's father. i didn't even care about either man! but the relatability of just wanting your dad there to stand up for you and be there for you always resonates with me hard. hit us with the anime back story indeed ;o;

James Huntington

Frank, I joined just last week. I had to see your reaction to my favorite series. It is like watching it again for the first time. I have family that are LGBTQ+ and this series help me greatly in understanding the LGBTQ+ and those members in my family. Love is love and we don't chose who we love. It took me a lot of years to understand that. wish I would have learned at a much younger age.

Nimo

" That's probably his mom... That's definitely not his mom" 😂😂🤣. Idk why but couldn't stop laughing when you said that. Had to replay few times.
