Intermission incoming!! (Patreon)

Hello everyone!!! Book 6 has officially concluded, which means that book 7 looms on the horizon...!

However, before we get into that, I thought we'd enjoy a little intermission :))) It's eight chapters long, each chapter is two or three times the length of a normal GG chapter, and it will be releasing daily, at the same time as usual. Now, what the hell is this intermission? Simple!

As I was finishing writing GG book 6, the more I wrote Simel, the more I longed for a universe where things Went Okay and Fennrick could have his darling friend back <3<3<3 But of course, we can't have that, can we?

...Can we????

Which, in turn, birthed THIS! The Simel Lobotomy AU :DDD!!! A universe where instead of Fennrick aborting the lobotomy, he went through with it, leaving us with a very confused Simel whose last memory is of the cage, and nothing after that... Fun fun fun!! And of course as a disclaimer, there are two reasons why this is non-canon. One! Book 6 is already 200k. Adding 37k on top of that is way too much. Two!! I'm too cynical to think this would work This Cleanly in the canon universe. I think Fennrick would fuck it up!! But this is a universe where he didn't, so... Yeah!!

I hope you'll all enjoy it, I had a lot of fun writing it!!!

And, surely, in this universe, things will end up better... Right?

PS: I think it's fun to post these so here's also the planning doc I've used for the past books :333 (rule of thumb: what's written is either canon cuz it ended up in the books, or non-canon cuz it didn't/won't. nothing in here is a spoiler for the future :3)
