Hey guys, I have prepared a quality of life upgrade for your studio today. As the title suggests, this is a sanctioned expansion to ManlyMarco's indepensible ExtraMoveAxis, one of HS2's core plugins.

MoveAxis is my most used tool for tweaking poses or creating new ones. Though this is the gizmo that I use to do almost all of my actual posing, the fact that I had to constantly move my mouse away to click the damned tiny FK nodes on the character's body and then come back to the gizmo to pose them brought me endless frustration. This overhualed version of the plugin finally addresses this issue.

What the overhaul does:- Allows user to use the scroll wheel on the gizmo to cycle through the character's FK nodes- Locks rotation of elbows and knees to the anatomically correct axis (while using the gizmo)

What these features allow (with a little practice) is the ability to pose an entire character with one rapid series of movmenets on the MoveAxis gizmo without ever having to take your mouse off of it. For people who pose (like myself) this is a geninue game changer and I suspect that it'll make some posers out of you guys as well! The scrolling function skips over finger FK bones on purpose because I use it to rapidly pose bodies. I recommend using MoveController by Mikke for fingers

Future plans for this plugin:- Many exciting features. I intend the v2 of this plugin to feature some advanced IK-like features for FK posing. V2 will make posing so easy and fun that it will sort of be my "teaching you to fish" instead of my usual "giving you the fish" inflection point. -Availability for KK and HS1

Enjoy! 💖

2026-09-05 18:00 Neat. This is actually useful, I've been using the move controller for posing and sometimes it's quite annoying to get the axis right for elbows and knees. Edit: I do wonder if it is possible to have multiple of these extra axis and assign each to a joint, so one could adjust say an entire limb without switching between joints.

I use that a lot too, but sometimes you just want to grab the arm and rotate on all 3 axis with one click. Now that the elbows are locked, the gizmo gives the best of both worlds

As i said in the post, use movecontroller for that. Its really well suited to fingers. You can also use scroll wheel and even Shift+wheel to select all the joints in a finger to curl them. For this one I wanted something to quickly pose bodies

Absolutely fantastic. I'm thinking this will also help to save a lot of time trying to click through overlapping FK nodes on bonemod adjusted characters and such. Thanks!

Am a go doing some unspeakable poses. Thank you.

Thx rose! Yup, its already saved me a bunch of time, but just you wait for the next version. It will blow your socks off i promise.

I have no idea how to use this thing i cant select any bones or anything on the character using shift middle mouse button to multi select like it says in the description. Im so lost it feels like i dont even have the plugin installed lol. Edit got the chain to work im not sure if there's more to the plugin or not or maybe just practice needed to use it properly.

Interesting Plugin. Although... I'm perfectly fine with Move Plugin alone. :D I can't imagine what I'd do without this one. O_O It'd be literally world ending. :D I will keep my eye on this one though. It could come in handy in some edge cases :D

This plugin is great... but I have a problem with the locking of the elbow FK joints, so they only rotate in one plane? The thing is, although elbows *do* work that way... we also have bones in our forearms that allow twisting, so we can e.g. hold our arms out, and turn our palms to face up or down, without twisting our elbows or wrists. But in HS2, we don't have those forearm bones? So I often combine a bit of elbow twisting with my wrist twisting, to try and keep forearms looking natural? But with this plugin I can't do that any more? I have to do *all* twisting of the hands, only at the wrists? That is leading to some very ugly and unnatural-looking wrists and forearms? Am I missing a trick?

Freelancer604

Ok that makes sense. You can perform those niche rotations using the move controller by mikke or the coordinate box in the bottom left

Ah yes - good idea! A slight inconvenience, but either those will work well enough. I'd love it if your plugin had an option to allow that extra plane of rotation on the elbows though?
