awwwww her little face! I can't tell if she's a child or a young adult though.

Doscher

She looks great, and there's a real sense of the movement of time. That is, it still looks like the same person and one version informs the other. I think that's one of Lackadaisy's biggest strengths- this feeling that the backstory is as real and living as a document as the comic itself. We may never know the details of what happened between the time of this image and Mrs. Bapka in 1927, but there's a feeling they're there instead of just being a vague prop for the present. Perhaps it's the high standard of the art combined with the release schedule, but time seems very pliable in Lackadaisy. The present moment seems to stretch at one point, and 1890 was just yesterday in another. To me at least, this captures the feeling of living in an old city perfectly.

What a lovely drawing! Theres so much detail and Mrs. Bapka looks so adorable here! I love her little boots.

O... oh my god... LITTLE BAPKA... I DID NOT KNOW I NEEDED THIS IN MY LIFE UNTIL IT WAS HERE <3<3<3

Katie Emma

This is really wonderful! Love the textures on her dress. Its so nice to see "behind the scenes" stuff like this

Recremen

Woo! Been looking forward to some comic updates and plot development, glad to see we get a twofer! :D

Tim Eastman

"Young Mrs. Bapka" is beautiful!

Henry Pitts

I thought it was a picture of a figurine, not a painting. Can you imagine all your creations on a shelf or a diorama.

Tracy Butler

An interesting thought! Sometimes I wonder if it wasn't all of the little Beatrix Potter figurines I had as a kid that lead me down this path to begin with. =)

Garrett Simpson

Those textures on the dress are lovely,no wonder you eat up Fantasy/History,some of the more intricate outfits must be eye candy for you!

Dog

Fantastic work! I always love tuning into the live streams.
