Sorry I've been quiet!  I'm heading for Australia soon, so I've had my head down scrambling to get ready and to get a comic update done before I leave (working furiously on that right now).In the meantime, I figured I'd share a couple of other pieces I did for the convention in Australia, in the same thematic vein as the Lackadaisy Noir poster.

Hey Tracy, where are you coming to in Australia? :D

KenFletcher

Elegant; certainly 'noir'... but also happy.

Robin Elyce

Wonderful work! I loved Australia when my ship visited. Went to Bunbury. It was small, but beautiful. 😊

Syrus Coy

Great illustrations! ... But... where is that Kangaroos pants???

Sandy

Hahaha, I just noticed that! Following this thread to find out the answer. :D

Autumn Wyvern

Its almost a little weird to see animals that arent cats in your stye

The greatest benefit of having your own office is that you don't have to wear pants at work. Seriously, though, he had pants originally, but it just wasn't jiving with those wacky kangaroo legs, so...let's hope he's at least wearing some Steve Irwin length khaki shorts. Or briefs. Or something.

Ah, it's lovely over there! Check out the Dreamworld theme park if you get time. If you feel like swinging by the west coast though I'll definitely be coming to say hi.

Everyone’s so curious about what’s going on down under. Dolphin shorts probably. Gotta keep spry.

Holden

Just going to see a pretty Dingo about a Wallaby

Is that a koala bassist?? Gosh I’m in love with everything. I seriously want to read about the boxin’ private eye. He came in determined to jostle things around, to act like a hard ass, but I suppose all Wombats are. Well if he wants to box, I’m always up for it. Then the wombat slams money on the table and helps himself to some Lamingtons. That kind of thing.

I spent two weeks in Perth a few years back. Fantastic people, beautiful city.
