Hey guys,The full size art may be more easily viewable here.I'm sorry this was so late in arriving. June so far has been marked by a malfunctioning computer, a malfunctioning car and a malfunctioning cat.  I've got a lot of catching up to do now, and I've got to figure out what to do about replacing some of my work equipment, but I'll post the livestream schedule shortly!  -------------------Some notes:In the late 1920's, car manufacturers began including windshield wipers with most new models.  Prior to that, wipers were more commonly sold as separate accessories. Electrically operated wipers were available, but most were operated manually with a lever from inside the car.

Granted, consumer cars in the 1920s didn't move as fast as modern day cars do, but one must appreciate the considerable skill it would have taken to drive a manual transmission vehicle in the rain with no power steering or anti-lock brakes, while operating the windshield wipers with a lever and defogging the interior with a jacket sleeve.

I can't tell if he's purposely calling it 'Padnora' or not, ahaha

KaNier

Wow. Quality. Is this a comic? Treated like an illustration.

Begaminoid

Never thought I would say that, but I adore Rocky's language and his taste for philosophy. Also, I've read Nosov a billion years ago, so that blue hat with those answers nearly made me scream. Thank you very much, Ms. Butler! Let the gods of bytes and gears bestow their blessing upon you again )

The month may have been full of malfunctions but this comic is fully operational! It's always a beautiful day when there's a new page out, please take all the time you need because these are worth the wait every time

Huh! I'm a little surprised Freckle could switch to gunman mode on the spot like that. In the preview I had thought he was already mad at Rocky by that point, for whatever reason. This was well worth the wait- Tracy's art is consitently jaw-dropping. Every single panel is an experience. Thank you for the update, and I hope things in your life, organic or otherwise, stop malfunctioning soon!

Your Humble Host

Uh oh, this is going to turn into a blood bath or Rocky has officially lost his mind!

Tracy Butler

I know there was a pretty large gap between updates, but if you reread the last page and his post-kiss discussion with Ivy in previous pages, it might become a little more apparent why Freckle already looks angry.

Jeez Rocky I think the only reason he's still alive is because he confuses people so much they can't even get their thoughts together to KO or kill him on the spot XD LoL!

SCD

Cool comic, Tracy.

Sidney Ruebensaal

LOVE it! The colours are just gorgeous. I can't wait to see what is in store for Rocky and Freckle - I've been following the comic since the beginning! x

Airvynk

My forehead is itching every time I see Rocky's wound.

Charlotte Grubbs

I think I probably already know the answer to this, but is it just because Rocky was discussing the past with Ivy that's got Freckle upset (without him knowing what exactly was said)? Or is it more that Freckle recognizes Rocky emotionally blackmailed Ivy into helping him, the same way he emotionally blackmailed Freckle? Or...something else? I feel like there's a lot of things churning in Freckle's mind right now that we're not aware of yet.

Casually_Competent

I had interpreted Freckle's reaction in "Heebie-jeebies" as concern for Rocky, after hearing the latter had been acting upset, and that impression carried over to "Look-see". Reading back through it now, and considering the panel/speech bubble allocation, anger does seem like a better fit. When it came to Rocky and his past with him, so far Freckle had always struck me as feeling guilty, like he owed his cousin for something, or just worried and wanting to help out of some brotherly bond. Anger, though... is he angry because he doesn't want the past discussed with a third party, or because Rocky used it to conscript Ivy? (I'm fairly certain his breakdown was genuine, and he just chose to make the most of it when he came to the morning after). In any case, this sort of moments will be worth revisting after the details of their backstory are revealed. I can hardly bloody wait!

I wonder why those guys aren't wearing hats? Is it a fashion statement? Given the weather, I bet theyr'e regretting it now.

Chris Ramko

Stupendous art, Tracy! Each frame is worth every minute of the wait! I’m on tenterhooks now...

Dirck de Lint

Hooray for fresh art, persevering in the face of all opposition! Reading your notes, I'm reminded of the white knuckle terror I felt watching the 1936 Boris Karloff film "The Walking Dead," brought on not by the understated errieness of the plot but by the high-speed chase over heavily rained-upon dirt roads... and I think they had electric wipers, too.

She had an inner ear infection. The symptoms can be pretty weird/scary.
