Gallery Feature (Patreon)

Testing out this new gallery post option that allows for multiple images. Been waiting for a long time for this functionality.  Hopefully it's nice and user friendly on everyone else's end too.Anyway, I've got a special thing to share shortly, for Patrons only. Planning to post it Saturday!

These are gorgeous. I love all your art. Just FYI, the gallery feature did not work on the Patreon app. As a patron, I use the app nearly all the time (I only come to desktop as a content creator). I would not have known there was more than one image if you hadn't mentioned it. All I can see on the app is the first image.

Hmm...uh oh. Sorry about that! What type of device is it? I tried it out with the iPhone app and it seemed to work properly (one large image and the rest lined up as thumbnails underneath).

I just tried it on my Android phone and it works fine. You need to swipe to move to the next picture. LIke on the desktop, it did show one larger picture and four smaller ones below it until you tapped the large one. Is your app up-to-date?

I have android, Samsung Galaxy S9+. My Patreon App gets updated on whatever schedule Patreon sets. I've never had to manually update it. Perhaps they are pushing out the update in batches. You definitely can't get to the other images on the post. You can only see the one. You cannot swipe it. If you click on it, you just see the single image with nothing else on your screen. No swipe. No thumbnails of other images.

Ah, solution: I just checked the version. It says 4.7.1.1 I see that there is a version 4.7.1.16 I forced an update and the images appeared. So...this is a new feature, and the app is not auto-updating like it should. This is useful for me to know as well, because I'd like to use this gallery feature. I need to tell my patrons to update their apps first.

While I have Patreon on both PC and Android, I've only so far checked your post out on PC, and it works just fine. I can give it a look later on my Android, but I might have to get some sleep first; it's 3:24am as I type this.

I for one am glad to see that we've successfully addressed any and all concerns that anyone may have regarding Zib's sexuality. :p
