Some patron art I got rather carried away with. It's a sort of a crossover piece with The Master and Margarita, a novel by Mikhail Bulgakov. As a dark comedy/satire written in the 1930s in Russia, it's somewhat amazing that it managed to survive the rampant censorship of the Soviet regime. For those unfamiliar with the novel, if you enjoy Lackadaisy at all, you'd probably take a shine to the pistol-packing demon cat Begemot (Behemoth).

Amazingly beautiful! When I first read the novel, about 9 years ago, I actually pictured Begemot as Mordecai:) (despite him being described as fat)

There's a number of translations, but the one by Michael Glenny is my personal favorite. He really captures the poetry and spirit of the text. There's a hard copy available on Amazon (Everyman's Library), which includes a great introduction with a lot of cool historical context. But the Glenny translation eBook can also be read online for free: https://www.masterandmargarita.eu/estore/pdf/eben001_mastermargarita_glenny.pdf (Chapter 24, page 149 is the "manuscripts don't burn" scene... :)
