News (also I'm free from school!) (Patreon)

Okay, I've got potential good news, potential bad news, and potentially in-between news. First, in the future, I'll maybe be demoting Second Wind from being a Patreon story. What does that mean? Well, the 6 chapters it's got will be drip fed over 2-3 weeks. Downside, no advanced content for it anymore.

However, that'll free up a space for another fic to go up on Patreon. Now, I don't plan on doing this anytime soon. I'm going to first be writing and posting more regularly from me now that I'm done with school.

My idea is that I'll work up enough of a backlog that I can post two stories regularly. A Life Kept Simple and one other. The Invincible fic by the looks of it. Hopefully alternating between once and twice a week for each.

Meaning 3 chapters a week. 2 DxD, 1 Invincible one week, followed by 2 Invincible 1 DxD the other week.

That leaves, Second Wind and Cherry Blossom Canvas, and my various snippets. Basically anything not on hiatus and without a Patreon backlog. What's the plan with that? When the time comes, I'll be running a poll on my snippet thread.

Again, once I've sorted out a schedule for myself, my hope is to update one of these stories twice a month. I will make it so that no story can win twice in a row, which basically guarantees that your favourite story will get something written for it. Unpopular options that don't win anything will quietly be retired from the vote lmao.

Until that point, there will be sporadic updates for Second Wind and basically none for Cherry Blossom Canvas, but it'll happen sooner than you think.

Here's a kind of roadmap:

— Post regular A Life Kept Simple chapters.

— Gradually work up Invincible fic backlog while sporadically updating Second Wind.

— Once I've got my personal backlogs for A Life Kept Simple and Willful Thinking done, release 6 Second Wind chapters over two weeks.

— Run the first vote.

Now, this is a kind of PSA, yes, but I'd also be willing to take opinions on this from everyone in this post’s comments. Of course, seeing that Second Wind is currently a Patreon fic, I'd weigh patron opinions on it more heavily, but no opinion will go unconsidered.

Again, this isn't happening "now", and nothing is changing in too crazy of a way. I just thought I'd give my process more structure now that I'm a free man. I hope you'll forgive any rambling on account of some sleepiness lol.
