SO MANY CAPITAL LETTERS IN THE TITLE I DUNN EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO

Another wild ride from Peggy on this one. Small chance I do an additional thoughts for this one as my opinion is already shifting a little after a partial second listen. Either way, enjoy that long weekend, friends 🍻

I feel like for most of the songs if you can’t get into the beat, the flow will stand out. Cause at least for me the second listen I get what everyone’s saying but it’s fitting better than the first listen.

Matt C

Really loved the production on this one. Can't wait to play the hell out of this album at the gym

im a fan of this one, kinda like a spiritual successor of LP for me, some crazy sounds, funny lines, all i would want. dubstep elements hit huge. oddly enough yen is one of my favorites though, if you do want more substance from peggy i would definitely suggest going back and listening to communist slow jams (not on streaming) and black ben carson, or his albums as devon hendryx (especially joechill + ghost pop)

Logan Cobb

I felt so disappointed with this album :(

Arturo Ramirez

Someone said he sounds like Spongebob at some monents and oml thats so funny

If i had a vinyl player id def get the deluxe vinyl as it has all of the instrumentals on it but either way ill be downloading those once they get digitized

I think the reading on Twitter of the presumptions about the "flow" Peggy uses somewhat tarnished your first reaction of the album and made it stand out like a sore thumb. I think looking at other people's opinions can definitely alter your first listen of an album whether you notice it or not. Either way, watching your reaction was my first reaction to the album as well and it was a great experience. Much love Bob ❤️

Hello Bob, firstly I want to say that I've been watching you for the past 3 years, and congratulations on 5 years, you're the reason I got into JPEGMAFIA I agree with what dumpstereater said, hearing "I can see what other people" every now and then was quite annoying. Peggy is doing something different on every album, there is no specific "JPEGMAFIA flow" he follows. I think the fact that "other people" say this is his weakest project yet just shows how different and experimental he went on this project. Peggy managed to freak out some of his own fans with this project, and the songs that are getting the most hate online you seem to enjoy the most during the reaction (meet the dealers - degenerates Prayer) Also, something to think about, I don't know if you're gonna notice when you relisten to it, but the last song transitions perfectly into the first song of the album, and the sample on the first song gives a lot more context to the last 3 songs of the album, where I think Peggy actually tries to give a message, not just rap about stealing bitches

Honestly, for a first listen, this album is good but just okay compared to his previous work. But "I Lay Down My Life for You" might be in my top 5 favorite albums, so it delighted me so much and offered so many amazing things that it's okay, I don't have any expectations anymore; he can release some incredible tracks as well as some meh ones, and I'll take it with a grain of salt because he shocked me so much. So, just a good album in my opinion, and thanks for the review, it was great as always.

Divurge Sage

Not a fan of this one ngl. Just wasn’t as expirimental as I was hoping.

Hope Utah was refreshing! As a first and only suggestion, I'd love if you checked out Genesis Owusu's new project, Redstar Wu and the Worldwide Scourge. It's a bit of a blend of hip hop / punk w/ very politically charged elements / electronica, and he's the sneakiest 3/3 on career projects that I know of (probably mostly because it's hard to be a real industry figurehead out of Australia). I know you'd enjoy it, but also know it's something of a sleeper. Cheers Bob!

Jacob Winterton

This was a good album to workout to I'll say that
