I'm so glad you finally listened to Doggystyle. Surprising you're getting to it now, considering you already knew of Dre's and Em's, even Cypress Hill's stuff before starting this hip hop journey, so Snoop was right there.

"The Shiznit" was actually a 1 take freestyle while Dre was checking the levels. He told Snoop to go in the booth and rap and got a whole song lol. "Lay back in the cut like I told yo azz"...I must say that's just his Cali accent which can have southern influence. A lot of us in the Black community born in Cali in the 70,s usually had parents/grandparents that migrated from the south so we spoke like them and went to school with kids with the same story so sometimes we'll have variations of our southern elders cadences mixed with California native speech in there somewhere. I believe Snoop's people came to Cali from Mississippi as my Father's side did.
