I started with the intention of listening to the deluxe tracks, but when I got to the end I quickly realized that I enjoyed the entirety of the core album so much, I lost all interest in listening to additional songs. Total normal, non-neurotic behavior (of course).

Funny. Was wondering how many people still listening to Blue Lips. Everybody was so positive about this meh album. This and previous album was waaayyy better.

Thanks for another great reaction Bob. Probably a good call on skipping Tetsuo and Youth for another day since the first track, Mural, is one of Lupe 's densest songs ever. The Dissect podcast needed 2 episodes just to cover it! I'd highly recommend using the lyrical breakdown video for it by TimesNuRoman, who uses images to explain the lyrics as the song plays without stopping or reminding. I know that's not your usual style but for this one song I'm sure everyone would understand and appreciate it. I'd really love it if your followers could somehow make a list of 12 or so mixtape songs from him for you to check out.

Schoolboy during this period is probably the best vocal performer in Hip Hop ever. The layering of his voice and how he's used in the production is also really unique and adds so much to it. Habits, Oxy, and Blank Face is such a great 3 album run. Blue Lips was better than Crash Talk imo, and it was a cool album, but I'm not sure he'll ever be able to rekindle the magic of these 3.
