So much ship design goodness, with exteriors and cross-sections. Next up, we need a hero shot!

Cheers brother! Yeah this is the first proper look at it we’ve gotten without cutaways, there are plenty more like it coming up, I’ve been drawing it from all angles! I’ve got you covered there 👍🏻

Thank you. 🙏 I'd ask if this was my birthday, with the fantastic stuff I'm getting, but that was 4 days ago.

Thank you and I did. Chill evening with good food.

Interesting! How do you think this ship's life support systems work? Is there some kind of photosynthetic organism like algae or plants that are grown? But there are many different species on this one ship, so are there multiple atmospheres maintained in different sections throughout the ship? I wonder if you did have to spend a lot of time in a station mostly pressured with a different atmosphere, how would your spacesuit/breathing system need to work? I guess if you wore it most of the time it would need to feel more like an extra organ or a second skin than an uncomfortable garment. I wonder, why did the UE decide to build their warp capable interstellar ships? The UE exploited and enslaved the Chantauri to build things, so they were trying to do something on Chiron. Was it to establish a colony? If the UE had sent warp capable probes and discovered Chiron and in turn the Chantauri that way, did they realize that intelligent life, and therefore civilizations, were likely very common if they encountered intelligence that quickly? Maybe the UE built the UE Belfast and the UE Ark because it knew humanity and itself had to expand in order to be able to survive long term alongside other interstellar civilizations. Mars went to war with the UE, perhaps with some nudging from the Wizard, because it wanted independence and the Galilean moons went to war with them to gain more control over the outer solar system. If these colonies actually did this then they must have had much more autonomy in terms of what they could believe in and their mindsets and culture than those on Earth and the Moon. Were they able to do this because the UE had given them more autonomy for some reason or because there were other factors that meant the UE couldn't just brainwash them like they did in the Earthsphere? If the Galilean moons and Mars were able to survive against the UE in full scale war for 40 years, in spite of the UE likely having a much better industrial capacity and more manpower than them, then they must have been very large and well equipped colonies. Also the time it would take for forces to go from Earth to the UE's enemies wouldn't be universal, I imagine both sides would also have craft and missiles that used plasma, fusion or even nuclear pulse propulsion to go much faster, so it wasn't entirely the time lag that kept the UE from smashing Mars and Jupiter. Anyways, excellent work!

I am not set on the specifics. I imagine the life support uses some form of electrolysis like the ISS. I like your idea of a bio-engineered photosynthetic super algae though. Perhaps it could use both in tandem with electrolysis being an auxiliary. Either way because the ship is a symbolic prototype to accommodate all species as a gesture of peace after the conclusion of the Conglomerate–Kolaxan War the atmosphere is set to the inoffensive GU standard. Each species merely has to use an air converter or filter in their suit. Rooms or even entire decks could be pressurised to suit a specific species’ demands however as you said. Yes I think if an individual has decided that they are going to live their life aboard Janudua Station they might consider genetic modification to adapt to the GU standard atmosphere present in the upper levels. Those suspended buildings that we see between the spaceport and the two captured “rubble-pile” asteroids have isolated life support systems of their own where species can don more casual wear. Yes the UE’s intention was to colonise Chiron and the wider Light system. They had a presence on Philyra in the Chironian bi-planetary system. I think they deduced that more powerful alien civilisations were a very real possibility and were trying to establish a position of strength. Yeah, you are right there. Indeed the Wizard was instrumental in stirring up trouble for the UE. The outer solar system was not granted autonomy, it was more a result of the information lag from the Earth-sphere which caused a natural distancing. That and the fomenting of discord by the Free-nations also. They helped supply resistance movements, provided intelligence and discreetly disseminated hostile propaganda in order to recruit. One factor in why the hostilities were so protracted is because of the travel times relativistic projectiles face when fighting at such long distances. Interplanetary war is a lot of waiting around and a lot of missing because your target has a lot of time to anticipate, block or move out of the way. Thank you for the kind words!
