I didn’t quite manage to get this one done on Friday, I underestimated how long it would take to colour all of the crew, I’m really happy with how it turned out in the end though! It’s always enjoyable trying out new compositions and page layouts, this new bridge lends itself to that too.

We’re going to see a lot more of the Tandrax over the coming pages, including their self replicating probes which are used to strip mine solar systems for the creation of their Dyson swarms. These probes are based on a concept by the scientist John von Neumann called a von Neumann probe. If you’re not familiar with what that is, give it a quick search, it’s a neat idea. Anyway, you’ll be seeing my take on that concept very soon!
