So I believe you said that nomad stars are very difficult to infiltrate is that the main reason why the allmother doesnt fight them or is it that a straight up fight she knows she would lose, and if they did fight how would it go ?

It’s because she knows she’d have a serious fight on her hands. Unless she sends an outsized fighting force, the Tandrax have the homeground advantage. She also wants to delay outright war with the Tandrax for as long as possible. It really can go either way. If the All-mother has the element of surprise and she uses an enormous amount of Imperium units to overwhelm the Tandrax, victory in the battle can be assured. But this would be a one off compared to what she’d be able to keep up in a war of attrition.
