Sorry about the wait on this one, guys. I did a bunch of design work behind the scenes on the council chamber and the designs of the councillors. You can’t see the councillors properly here because they’re drawn too small, but each of them has a different mask which symbolises the angle of enquiry they take when analysing a case. The councillors assume the title of the mask to embody the role. The roles are named as such: Virtue, Logic, Grace, Distrust, and Justice.
Virtue analyses a case from a moral and ethical perspective. Logic analyses it from a rhetorical and rational perspective. Grace gives the benefit of the doubt and builds up a steel man of the case. Distrust is critical and builds up a straw man to tear down. And Justice’s mask combines all four eyes of each mask to reflect their role which is to form a complete perspective from the arguments presented by the other councillors.
The design of the council chamber is meant to vaguely resemble a brain, with a nerve network connecting it to the vertebrae. This is to symbolise that it is the head of the entire system and is thus where the decisions are made.
The colours may take a while because I’m still getting back into the swing of things after getting back from our holiday, and I’ve got a lot of surfaces to render, but I’ll try to be back as soon as I can with them.
I can’t thank you enough for your patience and continued support. It’s not easy going on holiday as a self-employed person because my livelihood relies on consistent output, so I really appreciate those of you who stick with me through it all.
