The lighting really makes it feel like dark meeting rooms in other fictions! The positioning of Deicide as beneath the council and being focused on them highlights how if he makes a mistake now, or if something else happens, this is the place where it could fall apart in front of powerful leaders. The scene is very tense. What is that blue bubble behind the council? We've seen others like it elsewhere in the Star-Engine, so what is it? Is it some kind of view screen and Tandraxian visual stimuli and script are very different so it looks like a lava lamp to other species? What do you think the structures of the meeting room are made of? The big root like columns I mean? It's a more alien look but it looks more graceful than the sort of architecture of a lot of alien ships in movies, TV and games these days. Great work as always!

Exactly, this meeting is a pivotal moment in the conflict. The balance of the Orion spur and the Milky Way more broadly rests on what is said in this room. Thanks, that’s the desired effect 🙏🏻 Yeah that’s exactly right, it’s a 3d visual projector of sorts. This one is just emitting light, but it can generate three dimensional images. I’m not sure, most likely something super abundant, the star-engines and their interiors are made from resources extracted from the prior existing celestial bodies of the star system that they’re in. They’re somewhat concrete like in appearance, quite dull and matte. Thanks again, Erika, it’s always nice to hear from you.

could the imperium as it is now even concentrate enough forces to fell a nomad star? a single star engine effortlessly took out (i assume) dozens of krakens and even smaller targets in moments. would it even be a contest of firepower? how would am even approach taking out a fortress such as this do you reckon?

They could definitely take out a nomad star, maybe even several, but the wider Tandraxian empire completely outnumbers the imperium, hence the all-mothers apprehension about attacking them. It’s a good question, and I don’t want to spoil anything, all I will say is that your question will be answered in the pages of Humanity Lost.
